Great video of a culture for most is forgotten past .
History needs to be preserved for future generations.
It appears that the Amish culture is our only hope .
Unless the economy and regulations makes civilization make drastic changes from strangleholds put on our ways of life .
Which seems to be depleting day by day .
God Bless you and your families in your hard work and love for traditional ways of our past !
Thanks again for another great lesson

Can you imagine how well behaved and trained the horses in the six-abreast team with the culti-roller are?

They cut the entire plant! Around here they used to just pick the mature lower leaves, priming, as they were ready. It was big tobacco country here at one time, pipe tobacco. I'm putting in a bit next year but just for myself and relatives. Look up the Stompin Tom song Tillsonburgh for some humour about tobacco harvesting!
