Mirko Cegledi that’s a 5 chord, otherwise known as a power chord which can’t be major or minor. In this song however he doesn’t play 5 chords so not sure why the small dog guy brung that up

+Joe Haddad yeah, but from finger picking to strumming you either need to be able to get to a pick within 0.5 seconds or have skin made from titanium, those are bass strings, that shit hurts

I just realized how good this bassline is. In the main riff, it walks so nicely to the next chord.
Man, I used to aspire to playing like flea or Marcus Miller but since discovering your videos my new aspiration is to be able to play like you, because you can play it all and just as perfect as the original bass players. The bass line in this song is underrated, everyone focuses on the amazing riff by Frusciante but the bass in this song is also what really gives it color and feeling to it. The rhythms and melodies Flea plays with the lead guitar is nice
If you want to play fleas bass riffs without the slap it involves cords..We should all know the cords anyway..
Its a three man band and he takes the place of the rhythm guitar......

Dude I’m a musician and I just wanna say that the riff and such is hard to do for this song one of the hardest songs ever in the history of music, and you nailed it 100% I’m so impressed by you man. It sounds identical to the bass player for the Red Hot Chili Peppers, you did such a fantastic job man. I mean just wow. You play each frame correctly and on point- good job dude for real.
