@@Agustin_Leal yeah but they're not exactly meant to be a boss battle, they're an enemy to keep it entertaining and interesting, the real challenge is with zombies, antlions, and combines.

Valve can make the AI system as good as F.E.A.R, even better. But they tone many things down like the AI system so players can handle well. Shooting or handle something in VR game are way more difficult than flat game.

It's always so anticlimactic to see a wallhammer die from one hit
It looks realistic anyway. That armor couldn't handle the claws that dug into the ground and concrete in seconds.

@ if a trained soldier played VR they could potentially handle it. Although they will need a squad with them.
