People at first would think that a old lcd but man that's pure genius if the took the projector assembly on the back of the tube and move the motherboard part to the main motherboard it could be slimmer
I saw this TV live when it was sold. The colors were strange, as if you were watching a low bitrate video. Color depth was like poor quality 6bit monitors. There was a gradient effect in color transitions. There were Loewe CRT TVs next to it and the difference in quality was felt.
My Grandpa's Samsung LCD TV in the guest room has almost identical styling and makes the same exact startup sound. The settings menu looks the same as my 2005 Samsung 15in 4x3 LCD TV (LT-P1545
I did have a 21 inch version of this from 2010 they were sold over here in Algeria all the way to 2013 there were three varieties some came with RGB RCA inputs like the one you have some came with RGB Scart and some came with HD depending on the model and size of the set however they all suffered from a type of I'd say manufacturing defect after some years of regular use the left and right edges started bowing in and I think the problem got something to do with a certain jungle chip
I found the same model but mine is missing the lock for the convergence rings so they spin freely. I'm thinking of glueing them but I need to find time to fix the convergence first.
I think that is the matching remote. I had a lcd tv from 2008 that had the same remote. But it had the same exact style as this TV. Would make sence they would use the same remote. Why change it.
I have one, mine seems that the screen image is not uniform, from the middle to the edges, looks like the ''pixels'' are not the same size, my others CRT do not have this problem,i was thinking maybe the grid inside is not ok, the image is straight and has no other problems.
Slim fits are a trap for young players. Picked up a couple for free and they all had bad linearity for 2d scrollers. Serviceable for 3d light gun games in the mancave.

It looks pretty nice, and now I see where they got inspo for their plasma designs from.
another chap in the comments said a similar thing, boot up sound and styling like a lcd from Samsung.
The deflection angle is insane on these SlimFit tubes. No wonder they have glonky geometry and corner convergence lol
The start-up chime sounds a little like the game Galaxian.

oh that is interesting to see Samsung's direct evolution from crt to lcd/plasma.

Amazing variety, some with scart or component etc!

Very late Samsung CRT from 2007 according to the main board's date code.
quiet late indeed!
Thanks for the video 👏

yeah thats right, all the slim tubed tvs seem to do this. smaller pixels in the centre, get bigger as they go out to the sides.

That’s the compromise with slim tubes.
a trap for young players indeed lol
Has any of you guys got a Samsung cb-3373z at any given time? If so, how's the quality? Thank you!
this crt looks like an samsung lcd monitor/tv
That TV sas no SCART :D
I was thinking the same thing. SCART is a European thing and he sounds Australian. I use SCART RGB for all my retro consoles.
believe me I'm disappointed with no scart too
I would have expected that since it is 240V.
