How to activate Day Running Lights and EXTRA, DRL via FOG Lights in Vw Eos, Jetta, Passat 2020 tutorial. Day running lights is the simple way to make you visible into the traffic. Not only an option like this can save your life by activating a light into the front of your car, low beam or an separate light, incandescent or led emitting white, yellow, or amber light. Their job is not to help the driver see the road but to help other road users see the vehicle.
So for this modification or activation of your day running light the dealership will charge money so why don't you do it by yourself with the help of this tutorial?!
BE AWARE: Just don't do other modifications, and remember what you have changed because you will not have a default button. Respect the laws in your country!
As an extra you can activate bough the original day running lights and also activate the FOG lights when the engine starts. At night these lights will AUTO OFF when the low beam will activate via light sensor or manual.

Hi, when I check this menu for passat b8, it said that coding is not supported for this module. Any other solution to alternate the drl and switch on the fog lights instead?
