    Great video but ran into a problem. Messing with the Alpha curve at the last section of the video isnt fading out the material no matter if i set the alpha to 0 anywhere in the Scale Color node.

    Good tutorial. Would be improved a lot if you explain what each setting does and less background music. Still love it though!

    It's me again... I managed to solve the rotation problem, in Render I changed the Alignment to "Custom Aligned" and the value in Aling Sprite to Mesh Orientation for X 1 in the 2nd option

    Mine isn't flattening out like yours. I assume it has to do with changing the Base_Texture to param2d, which I have done, but I get a wrapping marble design instead of a flat circle. I've gone through the video multiple times and can't figure out what I've done wrong. Any ideas of things I could change?
    Edit: I figured it out almost immediately after asking (seems to be the pattern for me). In the bottom right of the preview screen there are 5 icons, select the middle one that is plane primitive

      Hi,
      Which Unreal version are you using?

    • @jonexotic282
      @jonexotic282 2 года назад +2

      For me, add velocity is under Particle Spawn

    • @quiskeya
      @quiskeya  2 года назад +1

      You can still add velocity in the particle spawn section, but it won't update during the lifetime of the sprite.

    Hi, first and foremost thank you for this tutorial! Quick question.... I have a circle with a different design and I'd like to make it rotate 360 degrees. I got that on the rotation rate but then the circle spins real fast. How do I slow that down?

    • @quiskeya
      @quiskeya  3 года назад

      Hello,
      The 'Sprite rotation rate module' use a float as in input to determine how fast the sprite need to rotate, so the higher the number the faster it will go. You can convert it a vector to give you the individual axes and then the float input will convert to a degrees input.

    Hello i am having a issue where by the end of lifetime the rotation resets, so im thinking that its not doing 360 in that lifetime, is there any way to fix this?

    • @quiskeya
      @quiskeya  2 года назад

      Hi,
      The lifetime of the Emitter reset every modules by the end. So, what you can do, is adding a higher loop duration until the reset is not noticeable, or make sure that rotation position when the emitter end is the same as the starting position.
      Hope that help.

    • @999croissant
      @999croissant 2 года назад

      @@quiskeya I tried increasing the loop duration from 2 to 10 but the emitter only loops for 2 seconds then completely disappears. Pls help

    • @KalistosGaming
      @KalistosGaming Год назад

      @@999croissantif your using the textures from the example considering the design if you set rotation at 45 or 90 or 180 and so on when it resets it will be always aligned with the design if that makes sense so you dont have the "reset position" effect cause it looks continuous now

    Hello, 1st i would like to say that your video is very good, 2nd i was wondering if you could help me?? I imitated everything you did in the video and I have a little problem, the circle is rotating along with my character's camera, and I would like to be able to turn that off and just let the Sprite rotation rate rotate, do you know how to solve this?

    • @quiskeya
      @quiskeya  3 года назад

      Hello,
      Thanks!
      Do you add the circle System to a character blueprint?
      If yes, maybe the camera have a parenting relation with the circle.

    • @bruvicmar
      @bruvicmar 3 года назад

      @@quiskeya No, I just put the particle in the scene

    • @quiskeya
      @quiskeya  3 года назад

      I think it's because when you have an object in motion or rotating, If you're able to move at the same speed of faster, this object will seem like it stop moving (like physics in the real world). I tried to see if I can find a solution to this, but I could'int find anything.☹
