Your videos are very informative, Thank you. I have question regarding how do we represent miter bends in piping plan and iso metric drawings.
its mention miter bend in boq
Technical Piping you mean in bill of materials?
By watching this video I really felt like I was assuming it in a physically and practically, very good knowledge sharing.
One more thing u can post the video of hydro test of piping
How much pressure we have to hold for what time
Leakage factor,permitted leakage etc
From my side small request so that i can well educate with the help of you
Thanks very insightful. please how can i tell the weight of an acid
water
Thank you so much
Bhut badhiya
What would precisely be water required in addition to its volume, for development of pressure from atmospheric (1 bar) to 10 bar for a ms heavy class pipe of 300 dia for a horizontal length of 1000 MTR ?
Thanks in advance for your response.
Very useful sir thankyou
thanks/watch and share videos to all
Nice
Thank you
For Hydro testing a 20" pipeline W.T 9.5mm, Length 15.5 mtr . When I calculated as per your given formula, Area obtained is 0.187 sq.mtr , and Volume is V=2.911cubic metre . Can you please confirm. Thank you.
Sir which company
Good and simple 💐
Could u answer me plz, How u transfer inch to millimeter of 6 inch = 152.4 mm(1 inch = 25.4mm) but u calculated as 146 mm. Perhaps u have mistake.
If you possible tell me plz
I will go for air pressure test one MS box size W 3000mm X L 5400mm X H1500mm 6mm thickness
If you don't mind plz tell me how muchi air pressure it will be take

What u mean by 4 and 12 in second step
How to calculate amount of water required to fill cylindrical pipe whose dia id=24.333, length =6inch
Plz sol. This.... I'm getting 224 lit whis is impossible plz tell
No it doesn't.
It only tells you how much water you need to FILL the pipes, not to PRESSURISE it.
For a hydrotest you'll have to calculate the additional water needed to increase the pressure to the required level (dV/dP), taking Poisson's ratio, the elastic modulus of steel pipe, the water compressibility and any air inclusion into account.
bhai bilkul sahi comment hai aapka .......per circle ka area galat hai devide /4 kue kia....
sorry mai soch raha tha r2/4 kia gaya hai...per d2/4 hai.....sahi hai
I have a doubt here
6" =152.4mm
6" id=146mm???how
Hi mr.hasar,6 inch (OD)=168.28mm
sch80 pipe so thickness (t)=10.97mm,
so (ID)=168.28-10.97-10.97 =146mm
OD-Outside diameter
ID-Inner diameter
t-thickness of pipe
Thanks for watching/comment and share to all....
No 6" =152.4mm ,6"=146 mm it is depend on that what type of pipe is taken .... For example u say 6"= 152.4mm for ... What ... I say 6"= 138.4 mm ( for reason this is HDPE pipe pn8 generation ) so in inches inner diameter is depend on type of pipe k
You didn't seem to take into consideration the added volume of water required to attain the required hydrostatic test pressure. Let's say for example at 10 bar. What would be the added volume of water to attain this pressure?
That's what I was thinking

l dont understand which is correct
for piping there are two diameter
how about area formula
1/4× π×(D^2-d^2) is it correct?
(D-d)² or Enter directly Inside diameter of pipe.
its funny, only calculate amount of water to be filled in pipe. how you determine additional water to reach pressure X Psi and temperature X faranheit?
incomplete ,lot of information is missing.
Hi,Thanks for comment. Please share complete information.
it's useful for others also.
