Don't ever let any negative comments cause you to feel you need to answer for your full time van life. If I were 20 years younger I would do the same. I encourage young people to either start van life or buy land & live tiny. Why be apart of the rent trap with no benefits down the road. Keep it up Matt. I am learning so much through your Mass travels. This spring I start part-time, Maine will be my first stop
Loving these Mass. adventures and history lessons. The NE is so beautiful this time of year. Better watch out for Big Foot in those big caves! ;) Thanks, Matt!
I love seeing these old remains and learning the history of it. In texas, when i see vines i always suspect poison ivy and im afraid to touch it lol. Great video.
I had insomnia last night and stumbled on your channel. I watched your industrial park overnight vid. Would you care to share what your normal job consists of? It must be freeing to only have to go into an office once a week. I love these van life vids. I live in Greece- long story- but would like to come back to the US to do something similar bc housing is so dang expensive. I want to tell you that I've watched many, many van build vids and yours is the most ingenious. I especially liked the routing of pipes under the floor and in the walls, which provides a nice even source of heat throughout, and how part of it was tapping into the gas tank. I don't suppose it supplies all your heating needs as you're using a supplemental source of heat as well. Another question I have is, ballpark, what did your conversion cost, all-in? I'm guessing $10-15k. If you've gotten these questions before, I apologize, but I find this lifestyle fascinating. Keep up the good work. Here's hoping your subscriber base increases. I've seen lots of these channels with a lot more subs, but less interesting content.
Hi Matt. I've been enjoying your channel. I live in a house but go away for days at a time in my Subaru Outback and sleep at trailheads, Walmarts, rest areas, etc. Just came back from a couple of days on the Appalachian Trail in Vermont and last week I did a couple of hikes in Connecticut, staying in my car two nights both times. Have you been to Ford's Folly? It's a nice hike in Framingham and Sudbury. The massive dam is walkable and was built with human and animal power only. Just search Ford's Folly and you'll find info about it. I hiked it a few years ago and would be happy to hike it with you if you want company (I live near Boston).
There’s a dam/lake I sometimes walk in Framingham but not sure if that’s it. Will check it out. I used to car camp before getting into van life and it def saves a ton of money and is straight up fun!
I'v never been to the Keystone Bridges, but I am hoping to go there some day soon. It looks awesome. I was wondering if you have ever been to Indian Hollow Campground. , not sure if its still there I think in Chesterfield Ma. We used to go camping there back in the day, and it was free.
I think you compared your job to the wrong game of dodging pits...I think you probably meant to compare it to the awful Atari E.T. game, where you have to fall into pit after pit to look for phone parts. 🤣
@@undertheradarvan I got my copy for free, with another game, and it didn't come with the instruction booklet, so I had to solve the puzzle of how to play it. Once I did that, the fun was over and I have not played it since. (the game, itself, wasn't fun, but I do love solving puzzles.)

Thanks Theresa always appreciate your comments and support.
Thanks!
Very interesting walk today! I love history like that about original & old railways! Good job 👏🏻 💯
thanks
Facts! Pitfall was ahead of its time. I really wish it would be remade. It would be such a good remake.
It should be a movie!
Aloha Matt - Thank you for this adventure and the humor 🤙

There’s something in those caves for sure
Pitfall... YESSSS!
😅 dude you're so real even though you're "making this crap up as you go"😅👍

I think my body is too distracted by the Lyme disease to care about poison ivy at this point
What a beautiful place, thanks for the taking us on this hike 😊
It really was a beautiful hike - glad you enjoyed it!
Great video. New England is full of old historical structures. it's great you share these places with us. Keep up the cool videos.
It's a great part of the country.
Dude, I hope that wasn't a big poison ivy vine you were Tarzaning on. It happens in Florida! Glad you had a fun day. Take care!
probably was

Enjoyed throughly!
🍂Beautiful🍂 landscape, history, friends, swinging from trees, Atari & analogies. Thank you! Keep em’ coming!
Thanks! Love spending my Saturdays on the trail, and MA is great in all seasons
This is one of my favorite hikes in western Mass.
Def has a little of everything

@undertheradarvan Ford's Folly is over Hop Brook, deep in the woods, not near a lake. When you search online, you'll see.
Nice to see you having fun
Yeah, it was a good day.
Beautiful area! My old state is definetly a stunning place
Yeah I really like it there, it’s a hidden gem!

Have not been there nor have heard of it. I know there was a village by that name flooded by the Knightville Dam when it was constructed
1:36 Uh ... I can see mortar all the way from here.

ET almost made me throw my Atari away!
