  • The ability to do this with the 110 has made an already fantastic knife even better. Definitely not your Granddad’s 110!

The Slim Pro is such a great value, I truly cannot say enough good things about it. In the Web Specials section on the Buck website they have some great prices on the riveted version. I might get the 112 with the nail nick.

I have seen complaints that the lock is too stiff, making it hard to close. What has been your experience ?
How is it holding up a year later ?
Did you order it directly from their website ?
Canadian Tire seems to only carry the regular 110. At least according to their own website, and I always prefer to purchase things in person.
Also, how is sharpening with that thumb-stud ? Seems like it would get annoying.
I just really like that you can take it apart entirely. So nice for cleaning etc.

The lock on mine is stiff but not too stiff.
I purchased mine from Italian Sporting Goods I’m Vancouver, best price I could find. Check out their website.
I am considering removing the thumbstuds as I only use this knife for hunting and do not need one handed opening. The S30V holds its edge very well.

@@kniceslice780 hey thanks for the info. I live on the entirely opposite side of Canada from Vancouver. Their shipping is almost a quarter of an extra Knife. Haha.

@@IAteYourSandwich maybe check out Bullseye North. They have some good sales from time to time, I purchased my 113 Ranger from them and shipping was very reasonable.
