Oh, thank you so much! I know not everyone appreciates my critiques, but I always approach my reviews from the perspective of a customer and consumer, rather than as a RUclipsr. Many RUclipsrs tend to offer praise because they receive benefits from sponsors or manufacturers. However, I don't have any sponsors because I prioritize absolute honesty in my critiques, which probably makes companies less interested in collaborating with me.
The issue with a ball joint on the hip would be it getting loose over time due to the weight. A ratchet is definitely needed which it looks the Primaris Dreadnaught has. I'm curious how JoyToy works out the Imperial Knight.
I see, they’re using balljoints for the hips on these Dreadnoughts! Wonder if they’re going to implement this on the upcoming re-release of Bjorn The Fell-Handed Dreadnought.
my favorite dreadnought but again need hand plug in for interchangable hands joytoy should make a skeletal frame for easy armor change one mistake head is big same with the terminator, remember they are now normal space marine
I also got the Leviathan instead of the Contemptor for my 30K Imperial Fists - I need a massive center piece for my smaller marines! The quality is hit and misses: especially the painting is subpar compared to 40K IF Redemptor which has shading and chipping all around and looks like a real war mchine, not an oversized chunk of yellow plastic ;) Weapons look good, though. And articulations are secondary: my plastic "godzilla" will spread its charisma on the shelf by simply standing! Thanks for in-depth review!
I am really disapointed with the quality of mine. Plastic looks cheap, paintjob ist horrible, obvious mistakes and differences to the pictures, so bad or no quality control. It is also done worse than other figures on purpose, because the Redemtor Dreadnoughts are way better. If this is joytoys new quality standart, then i am done with them.
They shouldn't do any edge highlighting - doesn't work on figures of that size, look too cartoonish and unrealistic. If you look at even 1/35 or 1/48 scale models, all those have 0 edge highlighting. It's too time consuming from a production standpoint too, hence the sloppy job. What they should do is shading and pin washes. Those are very quickly done, and greatly enhances the figure. Its also done on larger scale models too. Quite a big waste - I was going to buy this till I saw this review, very disappointing.
Great reviews, I love your honest straight forward and knowledgeable takes. 🎉

Amazing and honest review as always.
If minister painter adding some gradation for quality up, that makes perfection.😮❤
I still love both the dreads. Especially with the rest of the legion set.

JOYTOY why is there not a Dark Angels Dreadnought version !!!
Is the painting flawed as always?
Yes... the painting is not as good as the Ultramarines figures that I got..
The Redemptor looks better. I think I'll stick with that.
Stop the cap
I agree. The ones with the heads look ridiculous. The ones with the coffins are much better representations of grimdark.
@@thenostalgiabusiness Every dreadnought is grimdark.
Even some the ones the coffins have have heads
@@shahanwansa2723you clearly don't have one, the Leviathans quality is trash.
I have all Dreadnoughts and the new Leviathans paint quality is terrible. Extremely disappointed.
