Amazing! I never thought someone actually beaten survival mode. I've just killed patriarch with 0 deaths and think can't handle it further, gonna die on Seer at least few times. And especially in last boss, who almost completely depends on luck... I really don't know how you handled it, but great result, bro!
i think the skull you save from the fly enemies (not lumen flies) in stuland is the one that helps you in the lumen caster fight anyone have any ideas what the deal is with the red harpsicord things that you have to stab mostly in the latter half of the game? in a non-gameplay lore sense i mean.
Skull friend is the same one from stuland manor, yeah. It seems to be especially good at breaking green shields. I don't think there's much info about what the red harps are though. They could be part of the experiments the stulands did with marrow in the laboratories, or they could have been left over from the people who lived there before the stulands took over. Lumen flies seem to like them, but most of them die when you cause the harp to make sound. Maybe they were used like traps to attract and kill lumen flies? (for whatever reason) Actually better idea: they wanted to find out how different flies reacted to different sounds, and were looking for the strongest (colorful) flies to use in their experiments. The familiar was made of part lumen fly, after all
For context, survival mode is basically the regular game except with permadeath. You start at 0 lives and get +1 life for every orphan collected, maxing out at 13.

Man, and I thought Metroid Zero Mission was confusing enough to navigate when I was younger.
Made timestamps for the grit/clarity locations to help a particular person. Hopefully the way I formatted all this stuff works lol

This game is deranged, why would you do this to yourself 😭
