      I bought the cabochons (the glass dome) online, and I painted the eyes on them.

    did you make the dragon eye?
    I've been trying my hand with them and having big fun and nice results. I've been planning to use them in a bookbinding experiment. I haven't started it yet due to time constraints but I do have a selection of the eyes to decide from

      yes I painted it with acrylics.

      @@DarkNookShop you should try nail polish, it's what I use and I can get more iridescent colors for cheap, and if you layer the colors, you get way more depth because the nail polish has dimension and body
      give it a go

      @@Bluebelle51 I've used a few different methods... but that particular eye was made using acrylics.

      @@DarkNookShop oh I know, I'm not knocking your work, it looks great! I'm just offering up other options
      I'm still struggling with my leather machine, I haven't had the time to really work with it to dial it in the way I'd like to.

      @@Bluebelle51 yeah, it takes a bit of finesse to get the machine dialed in... but once it is, it's a beast. My only issue is that a lot of the stuff I make uses a saddle stitch, and this machine can't do that.
