Can you do a video on how to add a dot and/line to a putter. I have a putter with no alignment line and would like to learn how to do this! Thank and great videos!!
I can definitely do a video about adding a dot for the topline, however to do a sight line correctly and accurately would require a milling machine. I hope to purchase one at some point but currently don't have the funds. It is possible to do a sight line without a milling machine, but the odds of damaging the putter are much higher
Would you be willing to give a list of what’s needed to start a small refinishing area? Like the type of polishing machine, chemicals, dremel, dremel accessories, paper, paint? Great video and thanks for all the great content!
Great stuff your Videos !! How would you position a scotty securely if you wanted to hand stamp the face of the putter? Unlike the putterhead you are hand stamping in the Video, you could not just lay flat on the anvil.
Hey dan. I left a long comment on your part 2 custom video. Please please let me send you my putter and custom paint it for me. Also please please let me pay for doing so. Please please read my other comment so you know where im coming from. I am an excellent judge of character and i can say without doubt that i will send you my putter and the money agreed upon in advance to paint my putter and trust that you will do your best work and return my putter to me in as good or better condition than the scotty cameron custom shop guys. I assure you that i could not be more serious about everything that i have typed. I really hope to hear back from you soon. If not i still thank you for your detailed videos. You are the only one i have ever found through all my research that i would trust with my most loved club in my bag. Sincerely Ryan
Lol. Pretty serious about it huh? Try igolf906. He does just as good, if not better work and is extremely affordable. That and he will get back to you pretty quickly also 🤷🏽♂️
Cool, now do it with a standard steel/stainless steel, Anser/Newport style putter. The putter you are showing looks to be brass, which is extremely soft, and it's flat.

I will try to cover this question in a upcoming video... Stamping the face of a putter requires a specific vice and is a bit more challenging
What mm size alphabet stamps do you use? Thanks!

It's the same process, but like I said in the video, practicing on a softer metal like brass first is always a good idea
@@justdan5735 That's great. Did you do a video on how to do it on a standard putter? I'm sure that's what people want to see.
