I bought a laptop with the same specifications, its ideapad slim 3 i5 12450H, 8 GB Ram, 512 GB SSD. I thought I'd be able to play Valorant smoothly after watching your video. But I'm facing a lot of lags in the game to the level where it's unplayable. Any suggestions?
Maybe check if there is any performance mode .. also check the amount of ram used. My laptop has 16gb ram maybe that could be the difference

@@lazyneil one issue was highlighted on reddit by someone is. When charging this does not have a cut off setting. Like we cannot restrict the battery charger to 80% which is the case with many Lenovo laptops to save battery health

I understand many care about this feature but personally I don't as I use my laptop mostly when I am traveling or have to watch or play games via connecting TV.. but I think there should be some open source software which can do the same maybe. I will try to find one if possible
