I have seen many yachts and this is one of the best built under 100" I've seen in Her class.

Very nice. I don't particularly like the lines on this yacht but Jade is an experienced shipyard very capable of building quality yachts for much more reasonable prices than many other yards. I think Jade will make their mark in the luxury yacht market.
That is one SWEET hull ! Great class and use of space. Loved it.

I have been aboard this boat and it is indeed all that the video shows (and more). She was built in Taiwan, not mainland China, by the largest commercial ship builder in the country. Those that are posting negative comments are showing their ignorance.
the interior was fantastic, world class in fact! but that exterior design has lots of room for improvement!
I LOVE where this video, at 2:30, puts a subscript on screen touting the firm's "worldwide warranty", "on-site" maintenance. I wonder who's site they are referring to. If the vessel happens to be near my home port and the mentioned "site" is in Taiwan, I might find myself in the hurt locker.

Fibre glass lasts a bit longer than 10 years I think but it is true steel is durable, the Madiz was built in 1902 and after a recent refit she is still cruising the Greek islands, she's cruising south of Athens as I write, so steel definitely especially with modern protective paints.
Yes, there are thousands of fiberglass boats still in service that are thirty years old. "Ten years" LOL. Most sailing cruisers can't afford a new boat so the ten year old market is thriving.

Was that the Captain drinking champagne while on the bridge? If not, it sure looked like one of the crew. That was not very good thinking on the part of the producer of this piece. Nice yacht, but drinking on the bridge? What next, a video of this Jade yacht running aground, hitting the dock, or some other yacht? Check it out for yourself at 5:49.

Flemming Yachts use fiber glass to make their models. Their biggest is 78'. Riviera make a 70' in fiber glass. Lots do, but not so much carbon fiber. And not as large either. 95' is big. The Wally-aero-121 will be made from carbon fiber though, and gun boats are made from it too. But they are catamarans.

We all know the people who are knocking this yacht still think that timeshares are geat investments and their idea of a family night out is going to McDonald`s.They ONLY shop at Walmart because they still believe it is cheaper to buy cheap things several times a year than buy quality things that last longer.

What is this guy talking about. Fiberglass hulls only lasting 10 years. Mine is 25 years old and still looks great! I am sure the steel is much better but please don't say such stupid things!

Steelaluminum sounds like a good material to make a boat out of. Strong and lightweight. BUT judging by some of the comments im guessing is not as good as it sounds lol? What about titanium hulls? Titianium is strong and lightweight but not as heavy as steel? I guess it depends on what your using the boat for. Deep sea fishing? long range expedition through icy waters? Coastal Cruises etc?

aluminium is notorious for burning in major fires. nothing on the water is safe in the case of fire. prevention and safety are always paramount.
nordhavn boats have done more miles and circumnavagation then any other boat made and there fiberglass they even curcumnav with there 40 footer

Fibre glass is way more durable than most think, 10 years really made me laugh, I mean the people who believe that shouldn't be on the water in the first place. Fibre glass sailing boats over 50 years old are still sailing and in good shape such as a 32' Pearson Vanguard and I bet they still have many years to come. Ray Greene from Toledo, Ohio is believed to have built the first fibre glass and polyester sail boat in 1942 a Snipe (dinghy), gives an idea of how long they have been around. =)

Hit things like what? Containers, logs and whatever other debris? Steel is strong yes, how fibre glass is portrayed in this to make their yacht look better is just lies. Fibre glass can take a hit, a lot depends on how it has been built and where it takes the hit. Also what type of vessel. I'm sure you can find a good few videos on the net of people collision testing new boats.

Everytime I see a so call captain with his hand on the wheel, I know that I am looking at an amateur. Most experience captain will tell you to get on auto pilot ASAP so that you can monitor, and keep on eye for other boaters. If you keep showing this model, then at least get a good looking one. She is very average at her best. Not her fault.

They had a Big Ship made of it it had down in 20 ‘ feet of water sat for over 30 years , not to long ago they fix All the Holes raised it , cleaned it up she was about a1 to 2 feet of Cement took took it & Sank in DEPER water she was close to 50 + years , she had been a ver large SHIPPING SHIP AT Close 500 ‘ in length & 30 ‘ wide at beam , I would not make it as much as cement as they did , I saw a paper the US GOVERNMENT try to send a smaller boat on the rocks , & could not sink it , & I mean hard & they could not sink , they are made of rebar & make rebar across the main Deck, do in the hull fort & then main deck after in about 100 , close to 60 meters ! Why not get a fast amphibious Car Tender Boat/Car to go in that garage? I built a fast prototype that runs right at 45 mph (39 knots) on water and is fast on land too. I am working on prototype #2 with my own custom transmission. It is a way better layout than the one in the video. I can custom build a fast amphibious limo size unit with 4 wheel drive and 4 wheel steer and yes the wheels will be fully retractable and it will be fast in the water

What a BS video. The video mentions that Fiberglass boats have an average lifespan of 10 yrs. I come from the commercial fishing industry and the boat the Pacific Reefer is over 40 yrs old and looks brand new. Various other fishing vessels built out of Fiber glass are over 30 yrs. Most have been re-gelled and look brand new. Aluminium and steel are good to but they should stop talking crap about a building material that can be good to build boats with if done right.

I never saw a yacht that ugly. Proportions are totaly wrong and the bridge windows had to be angled.
