Captain America Annual #8 - While I absolutely love the cover and Mike Zeck’s pencils, I really could not get into the story of TESS-1. The cover is iconic and I own a newsstand copy of it, but the story is “Meh.”
Another is Amazing Spider-man Annual #19. Again, the cover is iconic and draws the reader in. Unfortunately, the story is quite forgettable. The pencils for the story are also less than desirable. But that cover promises so much and delivers so little.
