    glad to see you are on the road again - perhaps you did that, but suggest to crack the nuts 1/4 turn loose while the car is still on the ground before raising by jack. so then the amount of pull will be less once it it suspended on the jack.

    do not tighten wheels when the car is still jacked up big mistake

      Thank you, Ben has tightened them when the wheels were back on the ground again, so they are tight. Or is there another reason why it is wrong to tighten them with the high-jack still underneath?
