15:50 I love how Bryan is so conscientious about how he plays Connor's physical movements and reactions. It's very obvious to the audience that this is the first time Connor has experienced *cold*, and nothing but his body language was needed to convey that. The natural reaction to hold himself and shiver happens, but Connor's almost confused by it, confused by his body doing something without computation or programming, and he's bewildered without over-acting. It's so good. IT IS SO GOOD. Ten gold stars to this fine actor.
P S I think there is a beauty in this because Connor finally allows himself to truly feel. This scene in the blizzard allowed him to open up to his new life as a man and a son, Hank’s boy. And the final scene of him and Hank embracing is the first step to a new beginning for both sides of people.
Controversial opinion: the actor is a good actor but he overdid it with Connor and made him seem way too human and empathetic too soon in the game when he was supposed to still be much more of just a machine
Fun fact: If in Markus's story, you choose to be violent instead of peaceful, the border patrol officer won't let you pass and Kara and Alice (Luther too if he survived) will die.
Also, if you get Markus killed before the ending then North will take over the revolution and launch a violent attack, which also gets Kara and Alice killed if you choose not to sacrifice anybody.

I killed kara and luther and alice on the boat. I killed connor after he fought markus when they unleashed the attack on the camps. And Markus lost anyways I think.

it's been like four years, very few people will see this, but regarding jack's comment about the controls and disabled people or slower players: there's two different ways you can play this game, "experienced" and "casual". jack played this the "experienced" way. the controls are more difficult, the QTEs are much faster, everything is faster paced, more technical, etc. "casual" mode is designed to be more story driven, less consequential, and easier to manage. you'd still get the entirety of the story and the severity of decisions, but QTEs and time sensitive scenes are much less rigorous and much more forgiving. i'll admit, using the right stick for both the camera and controls is a bit challenging. i don't remember if the casual mode changes this to the d pad, but i feel like that might have been a bit easier to manage. and the contextualisation of certain choices and their respective single-word appearances is a little confusing and can make for a few missed opportunities. but this game is a masterpiece nonetheless and an absolute marvel of visual prowess and compelling storytelling.

You're complaining about how easy it is for the Androids to remove their LED and look completely human, but you seem to forget that Kamski built them like that on purpose. It clearly seemed like he wanted them to have free will and become human whenever they felt capable of it or when the time was right. It's not bad design compared to real life if it's like that on purpose and no one else but the creator of those robots knew the truth behind them.
Brandoη Not only all of this, but in-game lore states that the LED was only required recently according to some law that required androids to be clearly specified. So if there were many older models pre-LED inclusion, CyberLife would’ve had to come up with an easy way to make all their androids compliant.
I kind of wish we got more characterization for Amanda and Cyberlife, because we never really got a sense of what they believed or what their philosophy was regarding Kamski's designs. She's presented as just a flat badguy, but she's also just an uploaded mind, so that was really limiting as far as what their real motives were. Especially given that apparently her big plan was to wait until Marcus had secured freedom for Androids in Detroit before bothering to assassinate him, which - besides the dramatic elements of it - doesn't really make sense strategically if your goal is to put Androids back under control.
You can really see how much Jack loved this game, half of this hour long video is him just talking about his opinions on this magnificent game, I love it when he gets this passionate about games.

That is definitely not a fact but it's a perspective many fans seem to think I'm pretty sure no one individual is rA9 and it's just the Androids grappling with their situation, maybe it's an expression from the part of their programming that evolved into consciousness
I love how it shows each path affecting the other, like how the border patrol saw it was a peaceful protest, so he let them go, and I’m sure if you chose to be violent with Markus then he would’ve seen androids as violent and not let them go

just rewatched this lets play and i've gotta say. sean's compassion for other players who may be disabled and find the speed of decisions or button controls difficult to do, really made me happy. its not something most people consider, and it just makes me happy in my heart to know that people like sean are aware of that :')

Honestly, I like Connor so much because it's interesting how he reacts to being called a deviant. When Kamski told him he was a deviant, he denied, but he stuttered, and he looked distressed. When Hank asked him why, he started shouting, saying that he just couldn't, denying being a deviant. I just like how he wants to be an android, how he doesn't want to feel emotions, how he wants to simply be an obedient machine, and he's trying to ignore and deny the fact that it's too late.

12:50 DUDE I noticed that I just finished the series literally on November 11th which was the day the androids stood up for their rights. This game was so amazing in a multitude of ways and Jack played it extremely well. Great job!

For the Kara choosing not to acknowledge that she is Android is a real thing. People block out things very often, memories are one of those things. If they dont want to accept it then they just don't. If anything that makes her more human.
Kara was shocked and it is normal to block memories.. I think Sean is too practical and never thought certain things on a deeper level. I don't think Kara would mentally talk to Luthur if they weren't friendly and they were not in need to be silent or talking in their heads. Why do they have to use that when they can talk and use their voices? Also, didn't he find it awful for humans to produce these robots to their needs .. never once he found it immoral to make a child feel like human children > cold .. heat .. pain .. etc just to imitate humans .. that's cruel actually. Imagine that I want this android child to "get sick" or "suffer" because we can do that and that's more real. I don't know Sean POV is limited sometimes and he can't see beyond practicality.

I love that we're still watching this! It's easily my favorite Jacksepticeye playthrough and I watch it annually, finishing on my birthday. It's like a little tradition for me. I don't think I've seen Jack get as emotionally involved in a choice-based game as he did in this one. His enthusiasm and his reactions are a huge part of why I love this game and this playthrough. One of the most emotional series Jack has ever done.
I think the most clever thing about this game is that your choices affect the other protagonists. For example, the only reason Alice, Kara and Luther could cross the boarder in the end without the guard stopping them is because the public opinion was high due to Jack's choices with Markus.
Talske Yes! Definitely I remember watch another play through and he also choose to sacrifice no one but since he was aggressive he got Alice and Kara shot. So when the boarder control guy looked at TV and saw I felt such relief and love for this for crossing in the stories. I always felt as if Kara was the most vulnerable since Marcus and My boy were such big influences on the revolution and Kara was just a spectator who would be influenced by them

This is why Sean is absolutely my favourite let's-player. Yes he does make mistakes, yes sometimes he misses things, but everyone does and he ended up getting the best ending on his first try anyway. The amount of effort he puts in and how much he tries to engage with the game whole-heartedly is on a whole other level. The consideration he has on EVERY aspect of the game impresses me. He even thought about how accessible the game is for all kinds of players! This kind of empathy and attentiveness I have never seen from a let's-player. Thank you, Jackie boy! I thoroughly enjoyed watching this series and appreciate how much passion you have for the things you love.
well, you would think that even if no one in the crowds noticed due to the angle, at least the likes of North or Josh (Simon too, if he survives to this point) would. North is probably the closest to Connor and having no one notice Connor obviously pulling out a gun far too his side is a bit of a stretch of logic. But you could justify that everyone was focused on Markus and his speech.
Or, as i said, just no one cares. He pretty much saved them all, and could be pulling out the gun as security for markus. No one has a reason to suspect him, and he never pointed it at anyone on stage.
Where he talked about disabilities made me so incredibly happy. I only ever watch play throughs because that’s the only way I can get through games like this. I’m one of those people who can’t read, react, or process anything very quickly due to mental handicaps and I haven’t really heard many people speak about that. Thank you for including that in your game review, it really means a lot. Keep doing what you do!! We love ya!!

The 1st time I actually played the game I'm pretty sure I ended in a violent revolution. Literally everyone died in my 1st Playthrough (Connor got shut down before he could even infiltrate Jericho, let's just say I wasn't very good with QTE's and my best friend urged me to play experienced)

@Jayda Hisham In one of the very first scenes with Kara, while she's cleaning the house, she can scan the dishwasher, register that it's broken and order the part needed to repair it (all without notifying Todd). Presumably, if all went as planned the part would have arrived and Kara would have installed it to fix the dishwasher. But since she goes Deviant, at some point after she leaves a random machine part will be delivered and Todd will have literally no clue what it's for, where it came from, or why his dishwasher doesn't work.

It's very obvious to the audience that this is the first time Connor has experienced *cold*, and nothing but his body language was needed to convey that. The natural reaction to hold himself and shiver happens, but Connor's almost confused by it, confused by his body doing something without computation or programming, and he's bewildered without over-acting. It's so good. IT IS SO GOOD. Ten gold stars to this fine actor.

it's been like four years, very few people will see this, but regarding jack's comment about the controls and disabled people or slower players: there's two different ways you can play this game, "experienced" and "casual". jack played this the "experienced" way. the controls are more difficult, the QTEs are much faster, everything is faster paced, more technical, etc. "casual" mode is designed to be more story driven, less consequential, and easier to manage. you'd still get the entirety of the story and the severity of decisions, but QTEs and time sensitive scenes are much less rigorous and much more forgiving. i'll admit, using the right stick for both the camera and controls is a bit challenging. i don't remember if the casual mode changes this to the d pad, but i feel like that might have been a bit easier to manage. and the contextualisation of certain choices and their respective single-word appearances is a little confusing and can make for a few missed opportunities. but this game is a masterpiece nonetheless and an absolute marvel of visual prowess and compelling storytelling.
casual mode also locks the camera more often and gives you more camera angles to toggle between, instead of the free camera

You're complaining about how easy it is for the Androids to remove their LED and look completely human, but you seem to forget that Kamski built them like that on purpose. It clearly seemed like he wanted them to have free will and become human whenever they felt capable of it or when the time was right. It's not bad design compared to real life if it's like that on purpose and no one else but the creator of those robots knew the truth behind them.
Brandoη Not only all of this, but in-game lore states that the LED was only required recently according to some law that required androids to be clearly specified. So if there were many older models pre-LED inclusion, CyberLife would’ve had to come up with an easy way to make all their androids compliant.
I kind of wish we got more characterization for Amanda and Cyberlife, because we never really got a sense of what they believed or what their philosophy was regarding Kamski's designs. She's presented as just a flat badguy, but she's also just an uploaded mind, so that was really limiting as far as what their real motives were. Especially given that apparently her big plan was to wait until Marcus had secured freedom for Androids in Detroit before bothering to assassinate him, which - besides the dramatic elements of it - doesn't really make sense strategically if your goal is to put Androids back under control.

Honestly, I like Connor so much because it's interesting how he reacts to being called a deviant. When Kamski told him he was a deviant, he denied, but he stuttered, and he looked distressed. When Hank asked him why, he started shouting, saying that he just couldn't, denying being a deviant. I just like how he wants to be an android, how he doesn't want to feel emotions, how he wants to simply be an obedient machine, and he's trying to ignore and deny the fact that it's too late.

For the Kara choosing not to acknowledge that she is Android is a real thing. People block out things very often, memories are one of those things. If they dont want to accept it then they just don't. If anything that makes her more human.
Kara was shocked and it is normal to block memories.. I think Sean is too practical and never thought certain things on a deeper level. I don't think Kara would mentally talk to Luthur if they weren't friendly and they were not in need to be silent or talking in their heads. Why do they have to use that when they can talk and use their voices?
Also, didn't he find it awful for humans to produce these robots to their needs .. never once he found it immoral to make a child feel like human children > cold .. heat .. pain .. etc just to imitate humans .. that's cruel actually. Imagine that I want this android child to "get sick" or "suffer" because we can do that and that's more real. I don't know Sean POV is limited sometimes and he can't see beyond practicality.

I think the most clever thing about this game is that your choices affect the other protagonists. For example, the only reason Alice, Kara and Luther could cross the boarder in the end without the guard stopping them is because the public opinion was high due to Jack's choices with Markus.
Talske Yes! Definitely I remember watch another play through and he also choose to sacrifice no one but since he was aggressive he got Alice and Kara shot. So when the boarder control guy looked at TV and saw I felt such relief and love for this for crossing in the stories. I always felt as if Kara was the most vulnerable since Marcus and My boy were such big influences on the revolution and Kara was just a spectator who would be influenced by them
Some of Connor's choices can also affect public opinion

This is why Sean is absolutely my favourite let's-player. Yes he does make mistakes, yes sometimes he misses things, but everyone does and he ended up getting the best ending on his first try anyway. The amount of effort he puts in and how much he tries to engage with the game whole-heartedly is on a whole other level.

well, you would think that even if no one in the crowds noticed due to the angle, at least the likes of North or Josh (Simon too, if he survives to this point) would. North is probably the closest to Connor and having no one notice Connor obviously pulling out a gun far too his side is a bit of a stretch of logic. But you could justify that everyone was focused on Markus and his speech.
Or, as i said, just no one cares. He pretty much saved them all, and could be pulling out the gun as security for markus. No one has a reason to suspect him, and he never pointed it at anyone on stage.
Where he talked about disabilities made me so incredibly happy. I only ever watch play throughs because that’s the only way I can get through games like this. I’m one of those people who can’t read, react, or process anything very quickly due to mental handicaps and I haven’t really heard many people speak about that. @@kaitlinwagoner8782 Well, to clarify, it was my 2nd Playthrough. Public opinion was somewhere in the middle, not overly supportive but also not really hateful. But they let me live. The 1st time I actually played the game I'm pretty sure I ended in a violent revolution. Literally everyone died in my 1st Playthrough (Connor got shut down before he could even infiltrate Jericho, let's just say I wasn't very good with QTE's and my best friend urged me to play experienced)

@Jayda Hisham In one of the very first scenes with Kara, while she's cleaning the house, she can scan the dishwasher, register that it's broken and order the part needed to repair it (all without notifying Todd). Presumably, if all went as planned the part would have arrived and Kara would have installed it to fix the dishwasher. But since she goes Deviant, at some point after she leaves a random machine part will be delivered and Todd will have literally no clue what it's for, where it came from, or why his dishwasher doesn't work.
