@@Dunnoutdoors It would be nice if they restocked them the only place you can catch them now is in California so I hear... I used to live in San Antonio but now I live up by Waco... I do alot of fishing on lake Whitney.... Mainly stripers and white bass.... Thanks for the response!
great fishing man, always love to see people come over to the carp side and realize what amazing fish they are. I do highly recommend looking into to some proper carp care gear so you can grow those fish to giants! Even If its just a weigh sling so you can weigh them without butchering em! Keep fishing!
I'm possibly moving down there this coming summer so I'm checking out all the vids on fishing I can. I'm up in AZ area now. Do you guys actually eat the carp down there? I've watched vids of guys in the south catching them and eating them. Tried that in Vegas when I lived there...... No bueno... Those carp are much larger than the ones up around here though.
To be honest I just catch them for fun. I’ve never eaten them. Although I have seen fish with carp at the cleaning table. I’d say carp are best for catch and release, in my opinion.
Late evening and night time is best. I primarily carp fish during the winter months but for the most part it’s a year around type thing, you can catch them anytime.
Actually I bought it from one of my buddies who only carp fishes. It’s a 13’ and it casts really good with the right amount of weight on it, I love it.
Thats ssome great fishing bro!! Keep them vids coming man, you due for a new one!!
Thanks! I know man. My past few trips have been pretty underwhelming. But new videos are definitely coming.
Man I used to fish Braunig and Calaveras ... Sure do miss catching Corvinas. I have pictures of some of the corvina's I used to catch there.
I always heard about those, by the time I started fishing out there enough I think they were all gone.

The best spots are the 3 points on the left (1st point by the pier is my fav). And I have a video in my shorts vids on how to make the bait. 👍🏽
