Marmox Thermoblocks are unlike anything else!
Historically, it has been difficult to insulate the floor/wall junction because insulation isn't load bearing. However, that is what makes Marmox Thermoblocks so unique. With carefully placed supporting columns that sit within the insulation, Marmox Thermoblocks can support a massive 9 newtons... That's up to 3 storeys!
15% of a building's heat gets lost through the wall/floor junction and by simply replacing one layer of blocks with Marmox Thermoblocks, that heat loss can be reduced to just 1%
Completely waterproof
Marmox Thermoblocks are made using extruded polystyrene with epoxy concrete columns. Being that extruded polystyrene is a closed cell material, no water is able to pass through them. This means that Marmox Thermoblocks can be used either above or below the DPM (Damp Proof Membrane).

Marmox Thermoblocks are not only limited to the bottom of block walls. They can also be used with timber frame, underneath thresholds and at the base of parapets and they can be used for Passivhaus designs.

Definitely ordering those fellows, very good solution. Can't deal with the spongy(thermalite) blocks, where after a while moisture builds up and cause them to fail.
