Joan!!! It's always so impressive to see how much time and effort you place into honing your craft. You grow and improve every time you film or take portraits, and it shows a lot. It's also just cool in general how you're not afraid of experimenting with new stuff. And to do this all on your own, too? You're working hard; be proud. Btw, I absolutely love the retro/vintage look of this video. It's so oddly warm and cozy if I were to describe it. It just really fits with the surroundings. Once again, you're doing amazing, friend. Keep it up, queen. 👏🏻 And hey, JOAN YOU GOT THIS! ❤️ 🎉
You're actually inspiring me to pull out my SX-70 and become more familiar with it. I do admit there's a bit of a learning curve and I've always been quite intimidated by the process, but, in order for me to improve and perfect "my style", it's a must that I challenge myself and keep learning. Kudos to you and the images, although not quite as you expected, are still very cool and interesting. Art nonetheless!
I really like the vintage looks of the image, it looks analog. It's incredible that you did all this by yourself in an afternoon. Carring the bike. filming yourself, taking Polaroids, interacting with people. Yes, stacking nd filters and a polarizer is very challenging and it can be frustrating. Anyways, it's a great video and the effort to put it together is remarkable. Keep creating ❤
Woah I'm early on this. Love the behind the scene shots! What system are you using to record? Also curious, how long do wait til you scan the images (or take a photo of). It typically takes Polaroid film (for me at least) to achieve full color saturation after 48 hours.
The pictures are so cool. I'm not a huge fan of color Polaroid film. But the new black and white film that was shown at Polacon (I think that's what it was called), looks so good. Great video
Cheese fries and lemonade 😋. Really cool video, even if they came out a bit over or under than you would have liked, I thought the portraits looked lovely, especially the couple at the start and the woman on the bench.
