Nowadays, I use a white, distilled vinegar to clean my counters, etc and to clear slow drains with boiling water and baking soda!
I've noticed that most of these thanksgiving dishes have a sweet component. I grew up with more of a savory flavor, but all the glazes, fruits, etc in each meal are so good. We already tested the stuffing and it was AMAZING. Can't wait to try this too. Thanks Chef!!!!
Very good chef, I’ll have to try this for Christmas. To me cooking is like beautiful art/painting/ music all of it is creative and the beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Cooking is also Gods way of showing us the goodness in his creation in the flavors of the foods He made and we participate in bringing them together in eating them.

We also add clementine peel, that gets removed later on, so I suppose any orange flavoured peel will work as well. I am sure it tasted great, the rum soaked raisins will add more flavour, did not know about the parmesan cheese, a lot of flavour combinations. Love the dish, it makes the recipe more appealing. I bought my fresh cranberries today. Now I'm going to have to get a bottle of spiced rum and sweet potatoes. To late to soak the raisins in it but I can "carefully" pour some in while making the glaze.
Chef, you know I love you but I was running out of gas getting Thanksgiving ready. Like you say, cooking is not rocket science so I punted on the sweet potatoes like this: I scrubbed four sweeted potatoes, did not dry them and put them in the slow cooker and like Ron Popeil used to say, set it and forget it. Low. Until I really did forget them. Then on warm. Took them out cut that restaurant cross on them squeezing the ends. Just plated then next to the butter and a bowl of brown sugar. They were so soft and delicious. I can't believe how easy that was. Didn't use your recipe but you gave me the confidence to improvise.

And I am going gluten free this holiday season so the cornbread in your amazing stuffing vid is an incredible answer as to how to go gluten free (which my husband does NOT want to do) AND still make dishes he will LOVE too! ❤️😎😊🙏TY sooo much for these vids!
Why Gluten free? Do you have the health problem created by gluten? It is only a small percentage of people this is an actual problem for. Otherwise it's a lot of complication for no practical reason.
Watch the cornbread. Corning the US is primarily GMO and even if you can manage to find some organic corn it's still very high in fructose which is processed by the liver and that's not good for you either but cornbread made from cornmeal directly from the mill is amazingly delicious. The trick is to find a source where you can get it fresh from the mill
I bake them until tender, strip the peel, mash with butter and cognac and add little marshmallow until til brown and crispy top. If you don’t understand, best way to understand is try something new. I am trying happy raisins this year:))

Now that looks delicious! What I need to know is how to make a good Sweet Potato Pie, that tastes like a Sweet Potato Pie should taste. One that does NOT taste like pumpkin pie, it seems that most people that make them around here want to spice them up to taste like pumpkin pie. If I wanted a pumpkin pie I'd get a pumpkin pie.

We've got plenty of fresh oranges which we can juice for this recipe but haven't got any concentrated orange juice. We do have a bottle of apple & ginger juice in the fridge so I was thinking of reducing this down as a replacement for the orange concentrate.. I think the apple & ginger will compliment the sweet potato & orange. We are having roasted pork belly with it so it should be fantastic with pork..
