Man, whenever Mike Brown speaks I always stop and listen. So happy he’s our coach. Just an exemplary man and what he’s done in a short year is nothing short of incredible
Aye Mike Brown a legit dude, always positive and always real. Admits what he did, where he needed to improve, and always mentions who and what he learned. Respect, hope his run with the Kings is a long one.
Great interview. Insight into his perspective and transparency is quite nice to listen to and understand. Hearing him you can see why players love him and is called a "players coach." Having credibility of a winning coach, also helps of course.
I took Coach Mike and his Family on my boat when he said he went to Lake Folsom. What an experience. Mike is a humble great person and we are lucky to have him as Kings Head Coach
When the kings hired Mike Brown, I thought Mark Jackson should have been selected as the Kings coach. I had no idea Mike was such a great motivator and communicator with his players happy to say I was wrong...Mike's the man!
Love you guys’ show. We can’t see behind the camera but the production is baby bottom smooth. You run the show like a set play that you’ve practiced and executed on the court for many years. The questions are crisp, topical and open. It’s a pleasure to see you two work and to see you unwrap your guests. 🫡
Maaaan I like Coach Brown. Real life good dude and is genuinely passionate about basketball. I love how he immerses himself into the community he's working in. Nice one!
People always say "The NBA is better when the Lakers / Celtics / Knicks are good..." I'd say "The Association" is better when the Kings are good and in the playoffs. I'm a Warriors fan from the Bay, but even I would admit the Chase Center crowd isn't the same as how the "Roaracle" used to be. Was amazing to see that same early-2000's Arco Arena energy with the Kings and their fans in Sactown last season. Looking forward to seeing it again in 2024. Congrats Coach. Looking forward to seeing more runs by SAC in the postseason.
27:10 - "Tim and David, they were like..😶'YES!' 🤭 " Oh man, I miss Mike Brown being with the Dubs, but he's too good to stay an assistant. Another classic episode.
Man! As a young man in the workplace I got my notebook out! Great principles to carry into any work environment and positive leadership communication! Consider me a Kings fan.
I like to hear from the coaches. A lot of time things go wrong on a team and the coaches get scapegoated and fired and you never hear a word from them. I'm glad Mike Brown is still coaching.
Holy guacamole! Y’all done interviewed Bean, Chuck, Big Ticket; I’m only about a third way through this episode and this is already like the best ep ever
I was being raised in Cleveland while Mike was our coach. When somebody ask me about a coach, I always mention Mike Brown. 66-16, Coach of the Year. Great man, always stopped to talk to my Dad and I. So happy for his success as a head coach after assisting these past few years.
I used to work in the Kings Ticket Sales Department. Once Coach Brown finished his initial interviews with the media after being hired, he came up to our sales floor for an impromptu Q&A with the staff. I had never experienced anything like that before. I was bought in ever since then. Hes a great person. Not only does he care about the players on the team, but he cares about every single person in that organization. Sacramento is in great hands as long as hes in the building.
Amazing interview and stories from Coach Brown. I work at the Golden 1 arena and seeing the transformation and the life of the city of Sacramento get revived is truly magical. But I came here to say Matt’s lil side jokes that go unnoticed be making me weak 😭😭😭😭
Thank you for having Coach Brown on. It is great to hear his expression of himself. A good friend of mine from Oklahoma turned me on to him many years ago because he favors me…so much so, when I’ve gone to professional arenas people want to provide me perks because they thought I was him. He is also a rider, ML&R.
If I was an NBA player, I would love to play for Mike Brown. He's got a pure heart & still has managed to keep tht childhood love for the game, and he's intelligent.
As someone who grew up in Sac and a lifelong kings fan. There is not much in sac but I will say the kings are changing that the city has grown so much since they moved the arena into the middle of the city.
Big Mike is the Man!! I met him for a brief second in Atlanta. When he said "hit the jets" I was ready to lace them up at 50 yes old! Very interesting thing is that he said he is going for the title and yet everyone thinks they are going backwards this season. Coach is dead serious! To me, it illustrates how the minds of the youth and grown folks alike work. You can't be that good if you don't have the marketing behind you. Sac just dropped an easy 130 last night but everyone wants ro talk about AD. So don't be surprised if Big Mike and his boys are going upside your favorite team's head. They gonna call luck or whatever. Big Mike ain't playing no games!
Honestly after watching all 3 it goes #1 Kobe #2 Lebron #3 Jordan Jordan played in a more physical but less talented era, these last 20 years teams are stacked, players are more athletic, skilled, trainning and sports science is so high compared to the mid 90s.
Man listening to Mike Brown talk about the team and what we have and what he's trying to do got me so hyped for this basketball team I cannot wait to see what they do this year and years to come
Man, whenever Mike Brown speaks I always stop and listen. So happy he’s our coach. Just an exemplary man and what he’s done in a short year is nothing short of incredible
As a warriors fan it hurts he’s not with us but he’s definitely gonna help y’all get to a championship caliber
Glad Mike brown got a fair chance to coach a team that’s bought into what he’s doing. Sacramento has a bright future. All the smoke brings it! 💨🏀
So am i
Kings player had no choice but to listen
Pretty sure when we had him in Cleveland we did too. ...but Yea i love he still can get a job coaching.....always liked him
He learned a ton in Golden State.
😊😊
Mike Brown is a great dude, respect to him. he's been around a long time
Mike Brown one of them coaches nobody really talks about but everyone respects
Probably the most happy friendly coach there is out there! Always smiling!! Love it!
Aye Mike Brown a legit dude, always positive and always real. Admits what he did, where he needed to improve, and always mentions who and what he learned.
Respect, hope his run with the Kings is a long one.

Mad respect to Barnes bro is putting Sac on the map even more now
35:25 😂😂😂😂😂 bro im weak "Dont push me either 😡" 😂😂😂
Mike brown is the reincarnation of everything coach pop is all about. He was his protégé after all. I'm glad he's getting his flowers.
How can anyone not love his dude? SAC got an amazing coach there!
Great interview. Insight into his perspective and transparency is quite nice to listen to and understand. Hearing him you can see why players love him and is called a "players coach." Having credibility of a winning coach, also helps of course.
That Rick Carlisle impersonal was on point tho😂😂😂😂. Stack funny AF
Stood down for some long years of losing but I’m glad u never threw in the towel!! Thankful to have Coach Brown
I took Coach Mike and his Family on my boat when he said he went to Lake Folsom. What an experience. Mike is a humble great person and we are lucky to have him as Kings Head Coach
Appreciate u fellas nothing but respect 4 this Man.
When the kings hired Mike Brown, I thought Mark Jackson should have been selected as the Kings coach. I had no idea Mike was such a great motivator and communicator with his players happy to say I was wrong...Mike's the man!
Have you not watched his coached teams with the cavs ? Smh

PS, this made me want to watch the Kings and follow Mike’s career.
Mike Brown is definitely a player's coach who could relate to any era of basketball.
Maaaan I like Coach Brown. Real life good dude and is genuinely passionate about basketball. I love how he immerses himself into the community he's working in. Nice one!
Great sleeper episode 💯. Respect to Coach Brown 🤝🏼🫡

100 percent. A lot of people nationwide were fans of the early 2k Kings.
27:10 - "Tim and David, they were like..😶'YES!' 🤭 "
Oh man, I miss Mike Brown being with the Dubs, but he's too good to stay an assistant. Another classic episode.
My mom met Mike Browns wife she was a teacher and Mike Brown during their time in San Antonio. Very nice people.

I’m so happy for Mike Brown. I actually picked Sac as my sleeper team to make the playoffs last year. I hope they can actually go further this season.
Holy guacamole! Y’all done interviewed Bean, Chuck, Big Ticket; I’m only about a third way through this episode and this is already like the best ep ever
Great interview!!!!! I'm so happy to see the success for all 3 of these guys
Jak has me 😂😂😂😂 talking aboutCoach Mike Brown and Coach Carlisle
I was being raised in Cleveland while Mike was our coach. When somebody ask me about a coach, I always mention Mike Brown. 66-16, Coach of the Year. Great man, always stopped to talk to my Dad and I. So happy for his success as a head coach after assisting these past few years.

You could've left your comment without mentioning A.D., seems to me like you want to talk about him too. Go LAKERS!
@@lakersin556I think AD is great.
We aint forget what matt said. But at least he admitted he was wrong and Mike a real one for not taking the shit personal 🔥🔥🔥🔥
