I am a person who likes to be told when I’m pronouncing something incorrectly. I would prefer to know and not continue. To me it is never a sign of stupidity when someone doesn’t know how to pronounce a thing. It means they’ve never heard it before- that’s all. Anyway, after that caveat… House of Sillage. You don’t pronounce the L, in that same way that you don’t pronounce the L in quesadilla. It’s kay-sah-dee -ya, right?. So sillage is the same basic principle with the double L. See-ya-ge AND the ge on the end is like the end of mirage. Also, sillage means the scent left after someone walks by!
