I’m new to the Mercedes. I do have have a 2015 C class automatic. How do I correctly park the car. I noticed that when I stop and turnoff the engine the car itself automatically engage the handbrake and the gear shift in to P. Is this correct ? OR do I need to use the old technique i.e stop the car, brake, put into N, hand brake , brake again and put into P?

I can’t seem to get my 2020 GLC 220d AMG line premium to do this. I have the button and feature but it will not recognise spaces, parallel or perpendicular? Car was only registered this month and it appears broken? Any help or advice?
My 2020 C doesn’t do it either even though all the tech is there and was part of a pack I ordered. I was told that it was disabled by the factory on purpose due to some issues.
Why b is the image of the car on the left cut out like that ? Mine looks different. It’s more refine. This one looks like a low image quality with all this black space around it. Does it need to be recalibrated ?

We don't think it's pulling up too far ahead. You signal yourself as per the instructions on the media display. 😊

Takes ages to find Parking at times... & it will have you driving up and down & DOESNT PICK UP FULLY EMPTY / MARKED BAYS and that’s in a 2020 version 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Never the less smooth to drive lovely features but dammmm I could go on about the times I’m sat there going ......” this is a 2020 and still doing this shet ??? , “ this is a 19 plate and it still...” etc etc “ .....I can’t be the only one who’s had that problem ....🌍

I found this very unreliable system. Most of the time it does not work unless the parking lot meets very high standards.
Will it work half way through a spot tho you thought you could get into or could it not tell you if you have the space at that point? Also what year did this become a feature or is it an added extra upon purchase? Like some software upgrade kit or some ****.

Mercedes-Benz invented this system. First found in the 2005 A and B class's.
I got the c class 2019 and the auto parking works really like shit, not worth anything.
But they let it look really cool on the video 😂

IM Driving straight through an EMPTY parking lot with FULLY MARKED BAYS and it didn’t find anything I’m going slow / fast / medium speed 😂😂😂 then the repetitive thought of NEVER giving thousands to MB kicks back in 🤣🤣🤣
