Mananui Tramway Ride Part1

The Mananui Tramway bike trail is located in regenerating forest adjacent lake Mahinapua on the West Coast of the South Island, NZ just south of Hokitika. The trail follows the old timber hauling tramway used to haul logs from the forest to the timber mill from the late 1880's through to the 1950's. The remnants of the mill can be seen near the beginning of this video.
