It's been a long fight V, feels like I've been fighting all my life. Against the Corps, against the ones who tried to help me, against myself. I'm getting tired, tired of the city, tired of fighting all the time.
This song reminds me of Songbird when you decide to betray her. "and you don't seem to understand", makes me thinks how much V trusted Reed and the FIA. Even Johnny tells that to V. "And you don't seem the lying kind", this, to me, may represent Myers lies. V could only realize this when it was too late. Finally, the "I am falling, I am failing, I am drowning. Help me to breathe" part, is when So Mi is in her last moments, begging you to kill her. Is V the real villain in Phantom Liberty (unintentionally), or just another victim of the TRUE villain? Myers. Phantom Liberty is beautiful...and painful.
Lol, the fact he's my comfort character Ok real quick Pov: You're me, and feeling lonely from school, you're crying at 9:30 pm, and you find this of your comfort character, and it fits with what you feel. Edit: why did I make this-
It's a whole lot worse when you pass the age that Johnny was, live your adult life, recognize that Johnny is a delusional POS that only really acknowledges seriously one or two times... and STILL relate to him I wish I found Silverhand off-putting and edgy, because he's a sensationalist attention-whore with the barest amount of empathy, he doesn't give a shit about people and is riddled with hatred, distrust and PTSD... and he murdered thousands of people with nukes
Personally I think it would be worse without 90's vocals. It adds a genuine feeling of something that beginning singer would sing in a free time not for a stage but to practice with different styles while also paying homage to the era the song released.

I can hear him now. "wanna hear a tear-jerker from my time, kid?"
This song would've released when he was 21.
lainpilled johnny goes so hard
So he decided to join her at the end of his journey.
I can actually picture Johnny singing this to V after his Chippin in mission
I never would've expected these two media pieces to meet, let alone blend well
If I ever have a fever dream, this might be in it.
You're in a fever dream right now, choom.
Damn good fever dream

Not to be a gonk but i could use more Johnny Silverhand covers, this is so good(preem)
Ля, как же хорошо сделано, а главное подходит персонажу, что такое вполне себе бы вписалось в сетинг игры.
We need to somehow push this into cyberpunk

I can picture this song playing in the credits of the new ending where v Gets to live after a 2 year coma

Johnny is one of the best game characters imo

Why is it that when being sang by Johnny Silverhands it sounds like Jethro Tull? 😂
Am I the only one that wants to see Jonny sing “Something in the way” by Nirvana?
Actually feels canon.
this is def canon
what a breathtaking song!
Oh johnny 😢
I love this a little bit more than the og.
no shot
Amazing
Crayola Isaac theme 😔
This would be excellent without the 90's singing
