As per usual I had forgotten how to do this so thanks for the guide ☕ Also, in terminal, for confirmation, if one letter is capitalized, that choice is default when pressing enter, so no need to for example write ”y” if choices are ”Y/n”. Perhaps you know this but just aren’t doing it in the video - Anyhow, knowledge shared ✌🏻
great video, I was having issues because 6.1 was installed and gave errors. Had to go to root to uninstall 6.1, followed your video and everything works perfectly. Subscribed based on the quality of the video
Thank you for your explanation of installing VB. You covered a few points that happened to be missing in other You tuber's explanations. Again, very well explained, Thank you!
Have you done another video of placing a Linux virtual machine inside Virtualbox 7? I am interested in seeing how installing Guest Additions would work with that. Thank you.
The virtual machine failed to boot. That might be caused by a missing operating system or misconfigured boot order. Mounting an operating system install DVD might solve this problem. Selecting an ISO file will attempt to mount it after the dialog is closed.

Great video and it got me further into the installation process compare to other videos in RUclips. VB documentation failed many details you have mention on this video. I have a question; do we need to be in root account to installed VB? My installation failed and to restart the set up I need to run /sbin/vboxconfig .Thank you!
When typing up the command sudo apt-get -f install after it says: The following package was automatically installed and is no longer required: libllvm12 Use 'sudo apt autoremove' to remove it. The following packages will be REMOVED: virtualbox-7.0 0 upgraded, 0 newly installed, 1 to remove and 1 not upgraded. 1 not fully installed or removed. After this operation, 220 MB disk space will be freed. Do you want to continue? [Y/n] It says nothing will be installed. What am I doing wrong?
Hello sir, you tips and ideas are great. I learn new things always from your channel....❤ I have a request- *Please make a video on installing any windows on already running Ubuntu system on a dual boot without losing data.*
What does extension pack actually do? Is it really necessary if you are not going to do any development work? I use Windows version of vbox but I have not bothered with extension pack so am I missing something really useful? Regards,
The functionalities of the Extension pack are too long to list them here. Here's a link that lists them : www.virtualbox.org/manual/ch01.html#intro-installing
