You can use guns under water but the velocity of the bullet is massively slowed
I forgot the name for this gun but its a Russian gun that doesn't loose its velocity under water

@@aidanwilson7285 I'm pretty sure the US also did make one after the Russians did. Typical cold war tit for tat coopetition. But you cant really use a normal gun underwater as it uses the oxygen in the air to create the combustion of the gunpowder, making the force for the bullet.
Dont most bullets also just disintegrate from being shot in the water?
@@phantomsrage6523 no.. bullets are either steel, lead, copper, or a mix of those three
Granted tho the range for it is drasticly reduced with 556 by 55 only travaling 2m before stopping

Alpha protocol in 300 days is something I would really like to see, I know very well that the missions in the alpha are horrible but if you master yourself and focus on the mutations of your dinos you can do it.

A tip for dealing with giga bleed damage is to drink wyvern milk as it stops you from taking bleed damage

If only you could get Wyvern milk on Genesis..
lesser antidote also works if you cant get wyvern milk

Granty I know your already done with this map, but if you plan on doing this all alpha challenge on ASA (Ark Survival Ascended) I recommend using therizenos's, because they can eat veggi-cakes with good saddles. Makes the Alpha Controller much easier. I know the Tek-rex's can be way higher level than normal dinos, but the veggi-cakes makes up for the level decrease. Great video and can't wait for Genesis Part 2.

If I understood you correctly, youre playing this in single Player. Ark has, since the beginning, had an issue with single player where when you removed the resource and closed the game before it respawned, its gone. forever. for that reason setting the respawn interval for resources a bit lower is the way to go cause otherwise at some point the map would be emptied of all resources :'D fun.
Yeah that happend to me on fjordur the metal nodes near my base never respawned after i mined it

You can use guns but there are bullets and guns that are water proof
and the bullets are like a spike and if you do use regular bullets it will slow the bullet down massively

Yes they can shoot underwater but it will explode if not fully submerged

It's a bug hunt is a reference to the xenomorphs from alien. They are sometimes called bugs. Going to hunt xenomorphs is sometimes called a bug hunt. In the files, the reapers are called xenomorph (shootergame/content/aberration/dinos/nameless/xenomorph...).

Genesis missions was cool but needing to complete all of them to fight the boss is ridiculous. Some of them I couldn’t even complete on my PlayStation 4. Especially king of swing. Hopefully they change either how many missions you need to complete in order to get to the boss or just change everything for ascended when it comes out

A gun may work one or two times when fired underwater, but in the long run, water will seep into the gun or wet the crucial parts of it, making it completely useless. And then there's the actual water pressure itself, which means the bullet won't go very far. found this in google

Bro, my rexes had 35k hp, and 1000 melee. And I defeated alpha Master controller. It's almost inevitable to lose a few rexes during the beta and alpha fight. But those stats should be fine

How did you beat the alpha hunting missions
your rexes at the beginning of the video would've been fine the only thing that changes with each version of the fight is the hp pool of the master controller
