This song is pretty much how I feel about both of them.
i saw this live in jacksonville. at the time, i didn't think to much of it. but now that i'm listening to it and i know what it's really about, i remember how matty stood above the crowd, and shouted about how "this for anybody who's ever been cheated on, this is for those people who had someone that they gave it all for, for nothing, this is for the decieved" and i just remember not even knowing the song and just standing in awe. what a true inspiration.
im glad i finally had a chance to listen to memphis may fire because sometimes i think i do what these songs are talking about (in a bad way) and these songs really changed me

I mean it was because of me he talked to his mom for the first time in ten years. When I told him all of that he told me how sorry he was, and he told me he was happy I'm alive... *sigh* well, I just came out from a relationship and... I don't know how to describe it...but it's like I've been emptied from a long time ago. I can't feel anything for someone, can't feel nothing true since a long time. And all that is because people always failed me when I didn't, they fulfilled me with words of faith and they turned out to be lies. But the most painful part is when you remember those: "I love you" or "I will always be here" from the voice of your now ex girlfriend and you analyze how words become lies or become useless words that lost their meaning blew with the wind. I think we all should take care of ourselves, be happy or try our best to be okay with who we are, because once you give everything to someone you just feel like all the effort you did...meant nothing. My biggest advice here is to take care against words and believe in actions. Everyone can lie but not everybody does stuff for you. Thanks for reading me and get well from your breakups. (Sorry my bad english).
I generally shy away from this side of metal (post-hardcore they call it maybe?), but for some odd reason I get a very August Burns Red and He Is Legend feel from them occasionally and that keeps me interested.
