Yeah, for sure. The devs said this demo was a year old version? The demo was horrible, wait for release and see if they fixed anything before buying. That said, I already bought it myself because I just like the game. :P
Online always is a huge NO. Also. They throw away many features of the original games
I want grand turismo 7 physics and details also the tuning should make differences to how the car acts. Should definitely bring houses and mansions back also don’t put cars in you have to physically buy buying a certain level of the game

I will buy it if they at least promise that there will be an offline mode. I really enjoyed the demo. Saving up for the Audi TT RS and customizing it, it really gave me a sense of what it's like to own a car like that, especially since the details and sounds of the car are so good. The cars were fun to drive around the map which is packed full of detail, and the handling model is better than The Crew and even Forza Horizon 5 in my opinion. If they fix most of the bugs for release, increase performance a bit and add proper wheel animations and support, I think this will be one of the best releases in a while. And I'm confident they can keep expanding it and making it even better. But they need to add an offline mode.
Very good to analyze a demo build which is 10 months old. At the end of August there will be an open beta on consoles. After the beta, then u can decide

There is no casino in Hong Kong. Gambling is illegal, except for horse racing and soccer.

Id wait until it gets an offline patch, but there are definitely way too many other reasons not to get this game even with that.
Tdu 1 still look better in terms of presentation and UI than this game.Every car have his own speedometer,in races you have concrete barriers not arrows like a 00's NFS,map is the acual map of the game with everything not some lines in a circle where streets are and thats it.
I do understand that some people want to play hours and hours before the finally can buy a new car. I mean, i do understand it. But my experience is that if a new game comes out and people find an exploit to make lots of money really fast (or to level up super fast), tons of people will take advantage of it. This happened to many racing games like FH4 and 5, The Crew 2 and countless more. And some of your fellow youtubers will make these "how to make money fast" videos and the view numbers of those videos will be really good.
Not everyone want to cheat and cheese in any game. I don't cheat in old games like Kenshi because cheating makes things way too easy.
Customization was never the point of TDU, there's a lot of games with car mods already, no need for another one especially when that's not the essence for it. I literally don't want more than what is offered, even performance is too much because it actually makes you modify your car to beat other people in races because if you don't modify but the guy you race did because he can then your car is simply gonna be worse and once again TDU was never about this, you're meant to love the car for the good and bad it has and that's also an important part of why you choose it over another one and actually think about your purchase, if you can simply erase or diminish some flaws then the cars loses its character and also renders the others potentially obsolete. Balancing is impossible once you add performance parts on cars that don't have the same handling or stats and at least there's no drivetrains or engine swaps in this game or it would finish like Forza where every car is 1000+hp and AWD
PS: When you exited of the workshop it was actually a shader bug hence why all lightning was basically inexistent but yeah it was surely a bit cloudy and late because i saw the same bug at noon and clear clouds and you could see that it was bugged but still felt a little and i mean a little natural
I think the more customization the more balanced it becomes because you can turn cars that are bad into competitive cars allowing more cars to be used online, it's a problem that I expect in TDU is people always using the same meta car online considering that the cars have different stats and you can't modify them
@@manoel6728 Skill plays a big role in TDUSC, cars that have default IRL will have them in the game, only a good player will be able to either handle it or fix it by using the advanced tuning

I played the demo (well, explored the map, I didn't do any races) but I'm not buying it unless they add offline single-player mode.
Also, there were some major performance issues where, even on low settings (I'm on an older PC with a NVidia GeForce GTX 1080 from 2016), the game would freeze for a few seconds at certain points, mostly on the highway, while the textures for the next section would load. And this is a PC where I can play games like Forza Horizon 4 without issue (and, while I know FH4 is a "last gen" game, there wasn't really anything about Test Drive Unlimited: Solar Crown that seemed "next gen" at lower graphics settings so I think comparing it to FH4 in terms of performance on PC at lower settings is a fair comparison).

If I hadn't being told where it was set I'd assume it's in the US somewhere. No offline mode, so they can switch off your access in a few years. No thanks. No bikes ala TDU1. No police ? I never played that bug riddled TDU2 so can't speak for that. But as it stands based your video. This is not a test drive game.
Bikes were not on release in tdu2. Police wouldnt be added on hki because of riots. (Police propably will be added on diffrent map

Earning credits for "doing nothing" in Solar Crown is arguably worse than the vehicle earning 'fast-track' system implemented in the Forza games because at least in those you had to go thru the process of actually competing in events to gain a reasonable amount of money making momentum to buy the vehicle/s of your choice.
Sorry, but to me this sounds like Nacon are just pampering to the needs of those who "don't have time" to do what was required in the original TDU's in order to earn the right to own those high value supercars.

@@Kireth 80 fps on my 4090 with frame gen on and dlaa but still didn't look all that great (4k and 5120x1440p Super ultra wide monitors) Better than TDU2 though for sure.

Why should we not expect that stuff? If they want money and not go bankrupt because of not adding asked things, then they should listen to the players otherwise it will be the last TD... ever.

@@-never-gonna-give-you-up- because tdu was never about customising cars with aftermarket stuff. Theres a reason you only have manufacturer options to choose from. Oem kits like Nismo would be nice to have but imo that should be about it. People are also complaining that theres not enough tdu dna and then ask for stuff that were never part of that dna, you cant complain about something and ask for stuff that werent part of that dna either.

Car games need this. Car enthusiasts put on aftermarket parts on their beauty because it looks good, now we get a game that barely let's us change the color lol.
They either gonna add that ability or the game is going to become a failure with mediocre sales.
For a comparison, yes it's apples with oranges, but Grand Theft Auto San Andreas even had better customization options and that game isn't even as much about driving as TDU is. Also worth mentioning, the Rockstar company wasn't even that big at that time.
This is just a rushed release tbh.

The game was never going to be a big seller like Forza or The Crew, and it doesn't need to sell that well to be successful. It has it's own niche.
It looks like "Daytime Club" to me or something. - GTA IV with a graphics mod. - Need For Speed Underground with fancy cars with 2010 graphics. - Combined with PlayStation Home.
I played Tdu 2 today and it’s from 2010 ish and Tdu sc looks far better and sounds far better too…
