I love sailing and VR so this game would seem perfect for me but as long as Devs leave that water flat and dead I just can't do it. It looks like a Meta Quest home environment or some other cheap simulacrum. We need waves and the most very basic reflections on the surface. Me and my gf will each buy this game THE DAY the water improves but until then maybe change the name to Doldrums VR for accuracies sake...
The devs have actually tried to make waves but motion sickness and it would give a unfair competitive scene for someone who isn’t using waves during cannon shots and number the dev team are just a small group of people and they don’t have a lot of money so they cannons just add server specific waves
