This version of gaster makes me so sad,like other versions of him he’s either the worlds worst dad or very distant from sans and paps so I could excuse him no longer being with them but he genuinely was a good guy in this version
One of the better versions imo is the one from Gaster's Great Escape, he seems like genuinely good father, of course, still with his off-putting nature surrounding him.
There’s also the Gaster from Dogs of Future AU where he was a good scientist fella who was just doing his job. Before he got sent through time and space that is. Didn’t do anything malicious except gave Frisk, Flowey and Greatest dog nightmares before getting saved and sent back into the normal world. Went though so much but still a good guy.
