The drama was meaningful and the way the wife kept her calm is admirable enough for her husband to hate himself and regret what he has done.
His apology had nothing to do with her. He spoke of his feelings with not one word of her feelings and what his actions done to her. How the hell do you part your lips and ask the spouse you cheated on to help you resolve the relationship with the mistress

You bet! Seen it 1st hand. Now, everyone will hurt, there is a level of loss for everyone in the family. However, the most extreme will be to the mistress and the cheater. Seen it! The couple I know, both lost their minds, their health went south, they never had real respect for each other, they married, but are now just putting up with each other, waiting for each to die 1st, their children have no respect for them, they don't even show them honor, they don't get along with each other, the list goes on. The husband told me outright his marriage with her was made in hell! Their union has become a nightmare for them. Scary true story. I won't touch them with a 10 foot pole. Not interested in friendship with them.

I love how they can argue and bring out their true emotions without losing all their cool. How its just almost whispering, just plain talking without cussing and screaming and sounding like a bunch of animals barking. There is a level of decency and intelligence.

@@kateli1880 This is a Chinese Drama, not Korean, but you must watch the entire series. It is hands down one of the best Chinese dramas ever made. It got a lot of flak in the beginning from critics implying it was empowering women negatively but whatever. Giu Jia's story is just one of the focus. The other two friends have had their trials too. Check it out, you will not be disappointed.

Absolutely superb acting... I am just left breathless from the performance of these great actors and the direction/production. I thought K Dramas were good but if this is an indication of the state of the art of Chinese dramas, the Chinese dramas are on another higher level.

YES it's mostly his fault because the girl might not have known he was married, but after she found out. She didn't leave but tried to make him leave his wife (The wife should divorce him and throw him away cause she doesn't need that extra weight) and son.
