I feel like Kang is somewhat the same level villain like Thanos, I wouldn't be surprised if Marvel went for Galactus or higher up The Beyonder to make it more interesting. I would also prefer Doctor Doom with iron man suit up abilities. That guy is even more genius than Stark.
The infinity saga is been in marvel for decades building up for endgame
And now they're just starting Kang saga so I don't think they're gonna be doing for more threat than kang yet
You don't always need to scale up and up. Thanos threatened the universe, if you try to keep topping it you'll get ridiculous storylines like when Thanos fought god.

Nick Fury is also Caucasian until an alternate universe version popped up, in The Ultimates garbage. The MCU took that character, because it allowed them to cast SLJ in the part. Just part of being woke is all.

If you read into some of what Kang has done Thanos done even come close...
And what makes it more impressive is he wasnt born a god or anything like Thanos was.
If we are talking about the MCU, Thanos is just another cheesy villain. If we are talking about the comics, he literally had the power to deconstruct the universe in its entirety (not saying the comic Thanos is better, he is more intelligent and powerful but his motivations are so so stupid.)

John Byrne had written and began The Last Galactus Story in the now defunct Epic Magazine. He never got to finish it, but in an interview, he revealed the plot: Galactus had encountered a strange phenomenon of entire galaxies and stars aligned perfectly into a centralized area of space. He and Nova (his herald) found Uatu, the first watcher to ever encounter Galactus and had been driven quite mad by the knowledge that he could have killed Galactus before he became the world-eater. Uatu then waged a battle against Galactus for CENTURIES with both consuming the aligned star, planets, entire galaxies for energy. Finally with all the energy in the UNIVERSE used up, Galactus manages to defeat the Watcher. He then realized his true purpose in the universe: he was the 'vacuum' that soaked up all the energy to create a new big bang. He then cracked open his chest-plate and exploded while he encased Nova into a cocoon to protect her. Once the energy subsided and finally formed proto-matter then finally stars, planets and moons again, the cocoon opened to reveal Nova as the new Devourer of worlds, the new Galactus.

My point is Galactus isn't just a villain in the Marvel Universe, he is a force of nature. He was as indifferent to the death of a planet of billions of living beings like a F5 tornado is to a small town full of people. He eventually realized that he would consume them ALL, it was his inescapable destiny.

i've generally enjoyed the MCU take on the characters, regardless of the occasional gender-bending or race-changes...or maybe because of it. My bottom line is just...hope it's entertaining.

Comic Thanos was cheesy. MCU Thanos was cool. Comic Kang was cheesy. And unfortunately, MCU Kang is also cheesy. Honestly, none of this bodes well. Add in the fact of time travel and this is going to get stupid quickly. Not optimistic.

Thanos was more a leader than a ruler. I haven't seen Loki, so I don't know that he leans more toward ruler or leader.

You know, kinda curious why they didnt thought of simply killing this guy in every timeline instead of ya know ... nuking every timeline. It cant be that hard, just kill him as a baby or something.
But i guess actually having some sensible rules when it comes to timeline would be hard for Marvel. So they are gonna go with some bullshit like "he would prevent any try to kill him as infant" despite the fact that he clearly cant prevent his own timeline from getting nuked so yay.

In the show, time is something constantly repeating and moving. So while it does make a lot of sense to just go back in time and kill him as a baby ( *even I was thinking it at first, I think everyone was* ), his present selves will still exist. In the MCU's version of time, which is already a piece of shit, changing the past splits the timeline, it doesn't alter the present.
