CNC 3018 PRO Unboxing and assembly instruction

VEVOR CNC 3018 PRO Unboxing and assembly instruction manual.
I have decided to find out if a cheap Cnc machine can be used for something in my small workshop, I have no knowledge or experience with Cnc but first impression is positive the quality seems to be better than expected.

Nice purchase Harris, I got 3018 last year , had great time with learning & creating. Now upgraded to a 4030 ProVer XL & a FoxAlien 4050 Masuter

Thanks John, I've been thinking for a long time but now I'm up and running. I am experimenting with new molds for plastic molding and I could use to be able to work with greater precision.

Danke, heute habe ich die erste Testfräsung gemacht, einen Ø 20 mm Ausschnitt für eine Bench Dog Form. Es passt perfekt, bis jetzt bin ich begeistert ..

@@Harris-DIY Everyone makes the same error. The speeds and feeds are something you break a lot of mills before you get right. A table of averages for different materials is a handy reference

Start practicing cuts at 0.5mm depth per pass, 500mm/min for a 2mm carving bit. Most China CNC's come with 20°v bit and possibly missed set of 3mm shank Carbide Burrs. These tend to grind to dust rather than create chips

Thanks, I'll give it a try. I have a large selection of small milling cutters from the time I built pantograph milling cutters.
