About Metalocalypse:
Metalocalypse is Adult Swim's blackest, most brutal comedy. Coming straight to your face from Brendon Small (Home Movies) and Tommy Blacha, it centers around the band Dethklok, a global metal sensation with enormous economic power and social influence. Dethklok includes Nathan Explosion on vocals, Skwisgaar Skwigelf on lead guitar, Toki Wartooth on rhythm guitar, William Murderface on bass, and Pickles the Drummer as...himself. Unfortunately, these guys are more interested in boozing, doing drugs, and causing mass destruction than in putting out new albums. Their careless attitudes cause band manager Charles Ofdensen almost constant strife as he tries to salvage Dethklok's public image and protect them from a mysterious organization known as The Tribunal. Sign a pain waiver and head over to AdultSwim.com for the harshest comedy experience of your pathetic life.

"You get famous first THEN you become a heroin addict"- William Murderface.
Words of wisdom to live by
That seems almost like common knowledge, haha!
They talk about how Toki and Murderface are second class members but they really prove themselves as highly multitalented here
Their problem is that they are lazy, both of them. Toki is naturally talented and so doesn't feel the need to practice and Murderface expects things to be easy. It's nice to see them motivated in this episode though ^_^
their problem is that they don't contribute an equal amount of work into the bad yet at the same time they demand equal pay which is the exact opposite of fair.
@@garganrose Lot of years of work experience later I totally agree lol they definitely are second class members but because they choose to be. Jessica put it well too, Toki is lazy and Murderface is... murderface. Still impressive that they pulled this off, it goes to show they're talented, but all the talent in the world is wasted talent when you're as lazy and/or entitled as these two end up being in their roles.
I mean, they're also second-class compared to people like Skwisgar, who is known to be the greatest guitarist who ever lived. So yeah. Second-rate by god-tier standards.
@@zixserro1 i can't argue them being second rate. I think its been shown that toki COULD be what skwisgaar is but his talent is raw and he doesn't practice constantly like skwisgaar does, to the point where 14 year old me was more impressed by a last-ditch bullshitting session than by years of mastering a craft. It's still pretty impressive and shows their potential though.
So it’s limp bizkit but everyone is Fred Durst
H1 TH3R3 lmao
I’m pretty sure you just described hell.
It's limp bizket/papa roach
Expect Fred Durst isn't a heroin addict. Still love Nu Metal and Limp Bizkit my opinion don't hat me for it
@Nobody and Everybody Don't care what haters and elitists say I love Nu Metal, it is my favourite Metal sub-genre.
I thought they just had a lot of arm freckles
If you only watched this video you'd think Murderface was a talented individual with strong worth ethic, and is appalled by the other bands behavior because he's upstanding.
thing is, if he gets emotionally invested in an idea, he really does develop a strong work ethic
Here's financially invested also
He's probably more frustrated because he wanted this to work and ALSO didn't want to actually put in any effort.
At that point Toki and Murderface should have just called it Planet Piss and put it out themselves.
It's honestly a shame they never did something like that. Just write some other songs like "takin' it easy" and release the album
It's probably because murderface is too insecure to actually commit to any of his own projects. If he puts his name on it he's making himself a target for criticism
Still waiting
Murderface showed talent as a drummer as well as bassist while Toki managed to play guitars and sing, dunno who did the DJing (probably both while they did the production). So much for useless unless they're saying it's piss easy to make a nu metal record.
It's not that they lack talent, just motivation.
Philip Whitehead dude the man can play the bass with his dick. He is indeed talented but too lazy and incompetent to do something with it. Also Skwissgaar is an asshole that doenst allow any of this two to shine just because he likes being the center of attention
Carlos Meza but toki never practices guitar
But the parts were incredibly basic.
@@d.n.3652 And yet he was still able to go toe-to-toe with Skwisgar in a duel.
I just watched this episode yesterday. So hilarious they put this much effort into writing someone else's entire album when they could have just done their fair share in Dethklok and gotten more money 🤣
Back in the early 2010's I knew a group of rappers in my city who were like this. Most are either in prison or dead now.
Jinkies!
lmao
Rappers and hip hop artists seems to be involved with criminal stuff very often.
Interviewer: "Is Pickles the best drummer in the world?"
Murderface: "He'th not even the betht drummer in Dethklok."
(You know... not that an interviewer would ever talk to Murderface.)
make like a bass and be inaudible
1:11
The horror in his face 😂
*"I just thought they had a lot of arm freckles!"*
“Yeah fro up on tha flo and let dat assho clean it up”
🤣🤣🤣🤣 poor Murderface
Love how Toki and Murderface get role reversed when it comes to band problems where now they end up doing all the work while the entire "Get Thee Hence" inconsiderately puke on him. Don't worry he doesn't learn a lesson from this.
Worse, they got screwed financially by these guys... I'm glad the crowd beat the shit out of them and later they broke up because the label sent someone competent to deal with them.
Maybe in the Infinite Loops setting, he learns his lesson.
sounds like papa roach
Yes, irony is strong with this amazing show.
Exactly what I was thinking
The music those dildos play is essentially Papa Roach, so yeah...
That's literally what this is a parody of.
the actual lyrics of this song begin with "cut my life into pizza"
If only he put that much time and effort on Planet Piss, then I would follow him on spotify
1:09 when you go to a party and realize it's at the house of somebody you hate.
They should just start a side project of just the two of them. Start their own band. Like heaps of people start side projects while still being apart of their main band. There’s guitarists in like 5 bands around the same time
I miss Mike Shinoda and Fort Minor that stuff was legit.
CUT MY PIE INTO PIECES THIS IS MY LAST DESSERT.
CUT THAT FROG INTO PIECES! THIS IS MY LAB REPORT!
+andmcd1996 i see you enjoy linkondrugs, too
CUT MY CAKE INTO PIECES, THIS IS MY PLASTIC FORK
“Don’t they know the order of shxt around here? First you get famous then you become a heroin addict!” - murder face using logic
1:09 what my cat says when I buy cheap cat food.
That riff sounded like Last Resort by Papa Roach
murderface looks so offended lmfao
Tbh, if I were to sign up a coming-of-age band and being met with nothing but major disrespect, I'd be offended, too.
Poor murderface lol
0:20-0:25 Makes me laugh every time.
Here in 2022 that how swag people love to be homies lol 😆.
"Don't they know the order of things?!"
I lost it when the guy in the recording booth passed out 😂
I still liked "Taking It Easy"
I have never seen Murderface that horrified before lmao
Most nu-metal summed up in one video.
I'm actually curious of what the song sounded like with them.
I want to see an episode of Murderface and Toki being trapped on an island and becoming friends, then people would finally want to sleep with murderface :3
Definitely needs to be a bonus disc for a Dethalbum with a Planet Piss/Get Thee Hence split.
"Theys alls ridings the white horse"
Hahaha
I just thought they had alot of arm freckles lol
1:04 thats on average how gross drugs can get you
All bass and Rhythm so....basically Mettalica
???
i still dont get why murder face cleaned it up he has the clockateers
the guy threw up on the other guy's head.
This and the "takin' it easy" bit shows that Toki and Murderface have some actual talent and potential, but they are too lazy to work with it most of the time, and are also probably bit overshadowed by superior skill and experience of the rest of the band
That, and nu metal is easy to make.
That, and its a fucking cartoon.
People will literally world build on a fictional show but cant remember the name of the 2 people who work every day at the local coffee shop they go to.
Doesnt sound very metal...
white dude dropping soft R.
Don't they know the order of sh*t! You get famous first, 𝙏𝙃𝙀𝙉 𝙮𝙤𝙪 𝙗𝙚𝙘𝙤𝙢𝙚 𝙖 𝙝𝙚𝙧𝙤𝙞𝙣 𝙖𝙙𝙙𝙞𝙘𝙩! C'mon guyyys.
That's the most Murderface has ever worked.
Murderface instantly deducing that these guys are on the China run is pretty funny. Also interesting that they aren't hardcore junkies themselves.
Am I the only one who actually thinks this song they're doing sounds kinda good?
PJ Loner Craddock It's a parody of Last Resort by Papa Roach, whose main riff was stolen from Genghis Khan by Iron Maiden.
So maybe you're a Maiden fan.
The also stole the riff from The Prowler in the other song From Angels to Insects.
+WickedKnightAlbel it's a pretty goddamn general riff. Sorry but when something is that simplistic you can't really say it's a rip off, as much as I loathe papa roach
As you can see, everyone stole everything from everything everywhere ever.
Theroux theft is art kids
You are right.
am i the only one that replayed the first 6 seconds of this video a dozen times?
Why did u do that?
@@Terrible6867 i don’t know why. but i just did it again.
@@yesnickcarter I understand
what happend after that
Papa Roach and Limp Bizkit anyone?
That entire damn genre, pretty much...
The music sounds pretty damn good. Did they ever use it in any of their songs?
You mean the Papa Roach parody music?
“Last Resort” by Papa Roach, my man.
Cool!
The band is a combination of crazy town and papa roach
I definitely heard Last Resort in there
like me on an average day...
Let’s get lucky
0:35 does this song have a name
Maybe Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man and Papa Roach - Last Resort
I'm gonna throw up, man.
Reminds me of korn and limp bizkit
*tank top
Nu Metal in a nutshell.
I'd buy their project
I like Limp Bizkit :D
What music???
Yeps
0:30
Maybe Iron Maiden - The Wicker Man
Lotta arm freckles... I wanna know what that album sounds like
