I can't help but immerse myself into the images and make up stories. That's how I know the puzzle is a good candidate for my collection 😉 I'm glad I'm not the only one who does that!
The puzzle I am most excited to see you try is "Beside the Sea." I find puzzles with beach or seaside images very calming and relaxing. I love the colors - sea green and a mellow orange. Thank you for taking us along on your Barnes and Noble shopping trip.

It was fun to go shopping with you. I've been mostly getting my puzzles at thrift stores and have been having great luck with quality. One of my favorites lately was an eBoo Frieda Kahlo puzzle. Currently working on a 1000 piece Mudpuppy called "Hey Neighbors!"
I just looked up your Mudpuppy puzzle and I love it! The illustration reminds me of a childrens book I used to read. I really need to hit up the thrift store again and see if I can score any great finds.

I hope you like the Art and Fable puzzle. I think they are a good brand, similar to Pomegranate because both companies do fine art reproductions. I have a couple on my wish list, but as you discovered, they are pricey! I thrifted a few 500-piece count A and F puzzles that I really enjoyed. They aren't velvety exactly, more like a rubberized coating, but it is very different from other puzzles, and absolutely no glare at all. You were right to be skeptical about the "perfect hold," because it isn't! It wasn't bad, but nothing special, either. You picked a really nice one, and I am looking forward to the video. 90% of my puzzles are thrifted or swapped. I did partake in the B&N January sale. I bought two Ravensburgers I've wanted for YEARS. Finally decided to treat myself. Then Blue Kazoo did a $10 puzzle sale in January. I took advantage of that, too, as their regular prices are too rich for my blood. Glad you're back! Always enjoy your videos!

I did beside the sea and it was so much fun! My toddler kept ooing and awwing at the pretty colors.

I've tried a few Kinstlers and I quite enjoy them! They're a small brand, I think based out of Brooklyn.
