Hello! 🙋🏻♀️ Jennifer L. Scott brought me here!
Hello & Welcome!
Hello from Daily Connoisseur side 👋🏼 armature gardener over here! So excited to learn and pick up bits of wisdom 🌱
Yay! Jennifer and Ben are the best! Glad you made it here
What a fun surprise to see you on the Daily Connoisseur's dinner party video! Fun to follow you both! :-)
That's so fun! She and Ben are great!
You have been my inspiration for the last year. I have a small orchard of 20 fruit trees and counting because of you. Thank you and blessings.
Cedric, I'm super touched, grateful, and humbled to be an encouragement in your gardening journey. I really appreciate your sharing this. 20 trees and counting?!? Way to go! 👍
This is such a great idea. Ima go cut down all my neighbour's trees now and plant an orchard in their front yard.
You'd get no complaint from me if I came home to all fruit trees. Your neighbor, OTOH...😂
Jennifer L Scott sent me here-- what an cool video to land on! My husband and I just bought our new place and have space for veggie gardening for the very first time. We have big plans to start growing our own food... we are totally clueless, but enthusiastic! Subbing and looking forward to your gardening wisdom! ~Caitlin in NC
Hi! Found you from the Daily Connoisseur!
Hey Reagan! Glad to have you here :)
popped over from Jennifer L Scott's channel. Subscribed to your channel now.
Glad to have you!
Love the video. I've been considering growing a chestnut tree in my neighbors front yard. This video gave me the inspiration to do it, thanks!
Asking first, right? 😂
Great video as always! Here in Chicago I definitely noticed that a lot of people planted sunflowers in the grassy corners for offset sidewalks, usually they are bare. It was cool seeing mammoth sunflowers all over on the side streets on the north side (its faster to get around on the side streets during rush hour) the city owns the land but I doubt they care that neighbors are planting flowers and maintaining it. Its not fruit but it is giving people a chance to plant something.
For sure! I love when bare/empty spaces get SOMETHING planted. The more beautiful/edible, the better
Great video! Love it! ❤
Thanks, Diana!
Thats awesome!
I'm so impressed by these guys!
Great video
Thanks!
Hi! New subscriber here sent over from Jennifer L. Scott. I’m so happy to know about your channel and learn from you. When we moved into our house there were these four strawberry guava trees that we still have because we don’t want to kill them, but they have been so useless! The seeds inside the fruit are not pleasant to eat and they drop off and sit on the ground. Do you have any knowledge about these trees? I think the squirrels eat the fruit - I hope anyway.
Hey Janine 😀. I haven't been especially impressed with our guava trees either. My Brazil-living brother insisted that I needed them! 😂 Are you considering taking them out?
@@TheBusyGardener we’re keeping them because they’re so healthy looking - our gardener eats them while he’s working. He loves them and he encouraged me to try them. I filled up 2 giant bowls of the ripest ones, washed them, and started eating them - they do taste good, like a regular guava, but the seeds are like miniature rocks in your mouth. But we’re keeping them. They’re beautiful to look at.
Here from Jennifer’s channel!
Hi Sarah! Thanks for visiting 😀
60 fruit trees! impressive :)
They use this space to the max!
Great video
Glad you enjoyed it!
