I loved this game. I used to find the gunner mission impossibly hard though. I have only just noticed that it’s set in ww2 but your guy had an m16 haha.
@@n.c.d.p.b8833 or it could be the reclaiming of Hue City in the Old Imperial Capitol City of Vietnam. That place traded hands quite alot during the War. I had someone tell me there was a point during the reclaiming of Hue city that tanks were used. The urban environment of the Tank level and the stronghold level after it kinda matches the environment of Hue City. Since this Army Men game is fictional it could possibly be algorithed to both Hue and Stalingrad.
@@n.c.d.p.b8833 The first Army Men World War game before this seemed more WWII based actually having 3 campaigns a Pacific Eastern and Western front that was algortithed to those fronts in WWII. However the Storming the Trenches mission before the tank level in this game gave off alot more WWI Vibes and alot of the missions in Land Sea Air as well as the Final Fronts and Team Assault Army Men World War games all of which I played when I was a kid seemed to be based on stuff from WWII-Korea-Vietnam and maybe even some of the action US Forces saw during the early to mid 90s such as the Gulf War.
Heya. This video is a reupload because I had the joy of having a 20 second ambient audio track content ID'd 2 years after initial upload. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ And according to RUclips I can't remove it within same video because "it has too many views" (currently 146K). This is an old walkthrough, but it deserves to exist as it shows original, 4:3 experience. So besides me being screwed over I also have some good news. Expect an unusual channel update soon and another 60fps / overclocked walkthrough. Enjoy The Game Awards!
Damn. This was one of my favorite games ever. It's aged well to me. I'd still play it. I want it for my sons, especially cause the games nowadays are too realistic... and too preposterous at the same time. There was also a lot of strategy in these old games. I just got them a ps classic, also a true blue mini for now, but... mods coming soon. I hope I can find this game.
This is a classic, I used to love playing this as a kid, it was one of the first games i completed on ps1 back in 2001. It was either this game or metal gear solid, i completed first.

I'll never forget that damn bomber mission lmao. It was the "All you had to do was get to the train CJ!" mission of those days.
This was my childhood game lol. Good walkthrough!

Based more on Vietnam, granted the tank level has a Stalingrad feel to it lol

I like how their battleships are some weird Battelship/Carrier hybrids.

1:33:28."Red Leader, this is Gold Leader,we're starting our attack run."
Boy that Stronghold mission is seriously difficult
bring back so many good memories played it when i was a kid
The bomber and tank mission were the hardest for me ;w;
Not for me. They're quite easy for me.
That train mission, I remember always being blown to smithereens by that dumb cannon, good times...
0:42:"It's the rookies. They've got the rookies."
When you passed that tan train 🚂 I thought you were gonna get killed because the train was on the rail way track
44:09-45:31 Does anyone else know what those metal pillbox things are meant to be?
I would call them portable armored trench flamethrowers. They seem to be fictional.
Nice Bro
