Boycott the U.S. Mint coins. Instead, buy a 19th century Morgan dollar in MS-63 for $91. Then you a have a shiny coin that's minted over 100 years ago.
I was only going to buy the Uncirculated Morgan and Peace Dollars as well the Reverse Proof Morgan and Peace Dollars this year. Now I'm not going to buy anything from the US MINT.
About 45 years ago a class action lawsuit was brought against the Franklin Mint for PRICE GOUGING their silver products by 2x the price of silver. The suit was dropped when the price of silver went over $40 an oz. Thanks to the Hunt brothers! You would THINK some HOT SHOT LAWYER would start a class action lawsuit against the U.S. Mint as they are now charging OVER 3X the price of silver ( currently $31.50 or thereabouts!) What do you folks think about some lawyer taking up our case against the mint for PRICE GOUGING?
Definitely too expensive. I've kept a few subscriptions, but dropped half of what I used to buy annually. Silver is up today, to it's current $30.50. The prices were already too high, but it looks like they're determined to keep prices near 3X bullion value. 2.5X wasn't enough for the greedy US Mint. How nice of them to give the before & after increase prices EVEN for things that aren't even available for purchase yet, like the 2-coin RP Silver Dollar Set. Yeah, it's $185 now but will be $215, BUY NOW! ? I switched from purely stacking to more collecting a few years ago. But, they're killing the goose that laid the golden egg. I'll keep some of my non-silver annual coin set subscriptions. I can remember when I bought the silver proof set every year. Seems like it was $40-50, wasn't it (circa 2010)? These prices far outstrip inflation and even the price of silver. It's really pissed me off. Very disappointing.
I would bet that all or the vast majority of these coins were made well before the price of silver went to $30. Im done with the mint. There comes a time when price increases break your back. This broke my back. Bye bye mint.
It's hard to want to buy it to these prices now because it's getting to the point where sometimes you can get a better deal on a secondary market. So you gamble with her to take the plunge or wait out and see if the heat dies
Thanks for the update, Wolvie. I am going to keep subscriptions but lower a couple of them down to 1/each. I hope Ms. Gibson gets a report next week of how subscriptions have dropped. If you obtain any information on subscriptions, please let us know. Maybe Gibson doesn't give a crap because she knows she is done once Biden drops out or loses the upcoming election. Have a great 4th, Wolvie.
You can only buy products that have been released before July 9th at the current prices. Which makes sense. Wouldn’t let me buy the reverse proof sets coming out this fall. I’ve already cancelled my other prescriptions.
Yep. I got that email as well. I had already cancelled all subscription even before this price increase. Glad I have a mature stack, not buying any silver at these prices.
I hope to keep purchasing what I have in the past. This is just keeping up with gold which is way to expensive in my option. As for the space force medal 2.5 oz. its not surprising that it went 225.00 and maybe by the time it comes out it will be even higher;.It is her last chance to make any money on the series..
I emailed the Mint and sent in a complaint. If there going to do this they should offer more than free shipping to their loyal customers, like a rewards program for buying a certain amount of their products. Otherwise you lose those who have regularly purchased from the mint for years or even decades.
I will cancel most and maybe all subs. The only upside I see is that spending less on mint stuff leaves me with more to spend on coins I really want instead of collection fillers. I smashed the thumbs up but hate the message (not the messager). I want that 2019 S ASE.
Had to check out your channel for sure, with a name like; *Silver Wolverine* ! Not only is that my favorite animal, but I am also from the "Wolverine State", and Went to UofM! Thanks for all the info on that letter you recv'd, all good to know information. Have to sub to your channel now, for the Name and the content! Have a great weekend ~ See you in Valhalla!
They can go through their market/advertising, ill continue buying pre 1964 constitution silver (slabbed) before I buy one of these coins. I’m not losing out on not getting one of these
I’ll buy them again when my annual salary increase matches the price increase. They raised them 15%? Looks like I won’t be getting any of them this year. Total joke. Raising prices way too fast now. Pure greed.
These r just silver rounds made by government. REAL coins r ones that were minted for circulation like walking liberties, indian cents, real peace dollars and morgans 100 years old, etc
If this greedy mofos had allowed us on subscriptions to fulfill our initial order of Peace/Morgan $ and then given the two/one week notice I wouldn’t have minded the raise so much.
I don’t like this and something is really wrong here. I won’t be buying anything from the US Mint. It’s not like they’re doing anything extraordinary with their products. Specially when you look at other mints the blow us out of the water.
If these are Mint new price rates, imagine their retail costs. In addition, Fewer coins are likely to be graded, so grading costs are likely to increase as well. Spot is going to rise with all these other increases from the Mint. Now the Mint will have to produce “must have commemorative coins” to offset the losses I expect following the price increase. Ends one of my hobbies. I’m going back to fishing and metal detecting. 🫡 This might be a blessing in disguise so having a few 2024 Morgan and Peace dollars might not be a bad idea. 🤔
Thank you all for watching.. Please don't forget to hit the thumbs up button on the video and let me know your thoughts in the comments below... Thank you all!
done with the mint ... cancelled ALL subs .. boycott the mint !!!!
The mint couldn't sell all of the 2023 Morgan and Peace proof coins at $80 so lets raise them to $95! What a joke!
Hey, Nobody wants to hear the truth lol Thank you!
Bend over, The US Mint is driving.
I’ll stick with my Mexican libertads but thank you.

I get it, but the fakes out there put me off. I'll stick with 90% junk
I agree
Compared to other national mints, the US mint creates absolute overpriced, non creative, trash....
It’s a little embarrassing..
Too expensive for me.
I was only going to buy the Uncirculated Morgan and Peace Dollars as well the Reverse Proof Morgan and Peace Dollars this year. Now I'm not going to buy anything from the US MINT.
Hey Slayer!! Thank you sir
F the mint
FJB too.

If you get you subscription in before July 9, you are given the old price?
No. You can only get the old prices if you actually buy something before the prices go up. I called the Mint and verified that.
Unless I read something wrong... I don't think so..
Definitely too expensive. I've kept a few subscriptions, but dropped half of what I used to buy annually.

Buy 3 silver rounds instead. Greedy mint .
What’s a fair price for the mint to charge? With spot price and overhead.
$60 to $65
$76 last year was high enough
I would bet that all or the vast majority of these coins were made well before the price of silver went to $30. Im done with the mint. There comes a time when price increases break your back. This broke my back. Bye bye mint.
Thanks Scott.
What bad timing to raise the prices on silver collectibles two days before the big release of a popular collectible coin.
Done with the Mint, cancelled all subs (over 10) but the Two coin reverse proof set, regardless of price I still love the finish.
It's hard to want to buy it to these prices now because it's getting to the point where sometimes you can get a better deal on a secondary market. So you gamble with her to take the plunge or wait out and see if the heat dies
Cancelled all subscriptions at the Mint.
What's the true price??? They charge $90.00 but it only pay melt, criminals.
Put a stop to the prices going up Just don't purchase anything from the US Mint . You will see US Mint drop prices as fast as they raised prices
Boycott the Mint their sales will go down BIG TIME...
It will make me much likely to buy from the Mint as well. Next year, they will raise commem prices. Guaranteed.
Less likely?
@@SilverWolverine95 Yes, meant to say less likely.
Since they are raising prices will they produce lower numbers. I don’t think they will sell as many.
That's possible.... But don't forget about the 40 coin bulk packs...
I got the email too. It’s a crappy thing to do warn people about a price increase. Total B.S.
Thanks for the update, Wolvie. I am going to keep subscriptions but lower a couple of them down to 1/each. I hope Ms. Gibson gets a report next week of how subscriptions have dropped. I will keep my eyes pealed.. Thank you!
I received the email as well. Crazy price increases
Insane prices, not that serious
Yeah got the email today also from them and 2024 M&P $91 bucks somthing like that... wow can imagen the prices for the other silver products 😕
The mint lost their minds.
I cancelled all my 9 subscriptions today.
These large price increases are telling us that silver is definitely on its way up. Currently at $30.54 6pm CST.
You can only buy products that have been released before July 9th at the current prices. Which makes sense. Wouldn’t let me buy the reverse proof sets coming out this fall. I’ve already cancelled my other prescriptions.
That right.. Only items will the red add to the bag before July 9th..
I don't buy anything numismatic anyways! No loss for me!
Yep. I got that email as well. I had already cancelled all subscription even before this price increase. Glad I have a mature stack, not buying any silver at these prices.

Us mint doing its best to create rarities
I will cancel most and maybe all subs. The only upside I see is that spending less on mint stuff leaves me with more to spend on coins I really want instead of collection fillers. I smashed the thumbs up but hate the message (not the messager).
I want that 2019 S ASE.
many other items are going up i can see the increase good video thank you
I decided to buy the 23 and 24 silver proof set. I'll get the 25 set, and then I'm done.
I bought the 2.5 oz medal for 175.00 and the peace silver dollar for 80.00 so just canceled, and deleted my credit card.

If they're going to raise the prices they should lower the mintage and change the package on the Reverse Proof set
It's funny that the prices go up just before all the good coins come out a few days later
Odd how that works right??
This is their way of making us pay for the new coin cases instead of those crappy coin boxes
Not sure the new clam shell is worth $15.. Maybe $1 or $2
@@SilverWolverine95 I agree with you 💯
I canceled all but one peace dollar $91 is ridiculous $76 was high enough ☹️
Ouch.
You can say that again...
They can go through their market/advertising, ill continue buying pre 1964 constitution silver (slabbed) before I buy one of these coins. I’m not losing out on not getting one of these
Maybe they know something we don’t? Is the silver price going to 🚀🌙? They are letting us know now so we can cancel all subscriptions. 🍻
NOT!
They raise prices on anything other than Silver, I'M OUT!!!
And if you sell they give you 30.00 for it.
Prices too high for the continued bad quality packaging.
Wolvie Afternoon 👊
Boom! Gold Aztec Number 1
@@SilverWolverine95 Wolvie 💥Boom, cancelled All My Subscriptions Too...👊

It sucks, like 15 dollars for each and every thing!!!
nice video subscribe done

Not interested. It was a good marketing move by the Mint to sell at the old price for a few days.
I don’t like this and something is really wrong here. I won’t be buying anything from the US Mint. It’s not like they’re doing anything extraordinary with their products. Specially when you look at other mints the blow us out of the water.
I am a stacker. Not interested in over priced wanna be collectibles.
I canceled all my subscription
Stay the course. BUY BUY BUY
Yeah, okay, good luck with that!
Hold the line boys!!!😂😂😂
lol
Why not charge $599? The losers will still pay.
I canceled my subs before the increase.
I was just looking at the coins in this thumbnail..... Is it just me or do these "ladies" look like they are half way though a transition?
