- A (Silent, Not permitted to record Drivers Voices) Drivers view of the Humberside route along the branch line from Barton on Humber through Ulceby to Grimsby Town, home of Findus and to the Seaside resort of Cleethorpes.

I can remember when there were two lines between Grimsby Town and Cleethorpes. That's taking me back a while.
Travelled that route many times, usually on a direct train from Kings Cross
Saving a few bob on the cost of the new bridges I would guess, looking.
This must be quite an old video as the lights at Blundell Park haven't been changed yet. It still has the old ones in this one.

Very interesting rural journey, but how come it never stopped? I thought all trains from Barton to Cleethorpes stopped at most stations.
It was a special service.
Did there use to be another line diverging after Goxhill

Yes, it ran to Killingholme.
Lincolnshire level crossings & trains channel closed about 50 years ago.
@@MrMorganstreeter Could do with a train service in killingholme now there are no buses!
