- Hurricane Fiona really made a mess of the province this month! Winds lasted for hours throughout the night and reached 178 km/hr (110 mph) in some areas! It has been a real challenge to clean up and restore power to the residents of Nova Scotia.
Here is some footage of cleaning up some access roads and trails for one of our clients. My good friend Glenn came out to help with his chainsaw.
I hope you enjoy the video and thank you all for your continued support!
Location: Pictou County, Nova Scotia, Canada
Nice work. You guys are an awesome team. Especially appreciate the work you did to take down those really big trees that were leaning over the buildings. Would have only been a short time before they fell crushing the roof.
Thanks very much.
Our pleasure!
Beautiful fall. Nice work!
Need a bucket with a harvester saw attatched
Hope you got your mack all waxed and ready
Yes! All ready, just waiting for the snow to get here!
Like the video Jim
Mini excavators have gotten more powerful. They are handy as heck. Especially if it has a workable thumb.
Now the question is do you have a wood chipper?
Take care and as always be safe. Will you be on the roads again this year?
I agree! I don't have a chipper. I do have the plow truck all ready, but still waiting for the real snow to start. Hope you have a Happy New Year Tom!
Well Jim we had a Christmas blizzard. Over 4 feet of snow
Nice video, hope you get out plowing soon
Thanks Nate, me too! I only did three salt runs so far this season and now it's plus 9 and raining here on New Year's day! I expect it will be here soon tho.
@JimHowDigsDirt been out a few times, only notable ones were 8 or inches of heavy stuff, and then the Christmas blizzard here has rained since.
