Here in India people take psychological prblm very lightly attributing to maladaptive behaviour. The person himself can't come out of it without a proper counseling and treatment. So the lady is right in her place but the husband also be given proper care to save him from this life ending decision

The story of the wife facing issues due to suicidal husband is really sad but one should remember that he might not be doing it deliberately. He might be facing a mental illness like clinical depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder , PTSD, psychosis or such more ... It is sad if neither the husband's family nor the wife thought in that manner and played the blame game wherein the family blamed the wife and the wife blamed the husband.

No matter what we do we can't change the destiny. 2.We are humans not God's to make any change in other person's life . 3. In the lady’s story that you narrated, it is important to notice that she compromised for 18 long years with a husband who had suicidal tendencies. I think, it was when she noticed a shadow of her husband’s negativity in one of her children, that is when she decided to end the relationship. Thus the lady ended the relationship for her children and not herself. She did her duty as wife for 18 long years and then she did her duty as a mother. In no way is she to blame. I remember my father's last days doctors told to my mother that if you wanna see them more so please arrange blood immediately. With in 1 hour my brother's 8 friend hold our hope and doctor collected 2 unit blood and transfer in my father , but it's just a last option for doctor their body was so week they faced 3 heartattck with 2 silent attack doctor were trying to save them for 4 attack they have other medical problem also some before their marriage and my mother spend her all life of taking care of them but when we lost them our relatives start blaming my mother for blood those given by my brother freinds they never see what she feeling ,what we lost so it's just a society I think their decision is write and she is not a defaulter she is humanbeen and also a mother.

He might be facing a mental illness like clinical depression, schizophrenia, bipolar disorder , PTSD, psychosis or such more ... It is sad if neither the husband's family nor the wife thought in that manner and played the blame game wherein the family blamed the wife and the wife blamed the husband.
One of the mental disorders is Anxiety disorder. It is extremely painful disorder

No matter what we do we can't change the destiny. 2.We are humans not God's to make any change in other person's life . 3. In the lady’s story that you narrated, it is important to notice that she compromised for 18 long years with a husband who had suicidal tendencies. I think, it was when she noticed a shadow of her husband’s negativity in one of her children, that is when she decided to end the relationship. Thus the lady ended the relationship for her children and not herself. She did her duty as wife for 18 long years and then she did her duty as a mother. In no way is she to blame. It is evident that she was right by the fact that her husband did not survive even 2 months without her. Our society expects women to be Godly. And it is easy to blame them.

I had similar life with my ex husband..he used to drink a lot too.. a habit he had from age 9 onwards in india.. toddy making & drinking in his farm..i chose to divorce him.. & he now regrets his behaviour towards me & lives an extremely sad life he tells my son .. and my other son doesn’t even want to talk to him..this lady ne apni aour bachhe ki jaan bachai..she did a right thing.. she’s not guilty of anything

I remember my father's last days doctors told to my mother that if you wanna see them more so please arrange blood immediately. With in 1 hour my brother's 8 friend hold our hope and doctor collected 2 unit blood and transfer in my father , but it's just a last option for doctor their body was so week they faced 3 heartattck with 2 silent attack doctor were trying to save them for 4 attack they have other medical problem also some before their marriage and my mother spend her all life of taking care of them but when we lost them our relatives start blaming my mother for blood those given by my brother freinds they never see what she feeling ,what we lost so it's just a society
