There are so many precious moments in this segment. That delicious little laugh she always had. She had a habit of playing with her hands when she was thinking. Very grateful to have these four segments. Only a pity that we cannot locate more of what was recorded that day...parts that were not included in the broadcast event.

A wonderful actress and the epitome of loveliness. How gracefully she aged! No plastic surgeons touched her beautiful face, thank God! And what a quick wit she had! I could listen to her indefinitely. Her autobiography is a treasure, by the way.

Such a lady of style and charm. Well spoken and polite. So talented and delightful. The modern Hollywood crowd could learn so much from her - but sadly, they have fallen so far…

I loved her in Random Harvest but must confess my favorite movies of hers are with Walter Pidgeon, esp when Gus called her sparrow and when he said he adored her. Walter had the kind of voice, that made me melt, also saw him in How Green Was My Valley

What sheer delight she is! I've always loved her movies but, of course, Mrs. Miniver is my favorite. Thank you for sharing.

What a delightful woman. I must admit i'm young and not familiar with a lot of her work (YET) but i always loved her as the Mother Superior in "The Singing Nun." How lovely it is to find her here just as genuinely motherly, kind and charming.

I wasn’t alive back then but I miss when celebrities were so talented, modest and kind. I think I was born too late.

At the very end of this segment, Ms. Garson refers to the 'terrible practical jokes...it's amazing that the picture ever got done...they were very funny" by Errol Flynn during the filming of "That Forsyte Woman." One joke was during a scene when she was to get a dress out of her closet, she opens the door and out jumps Flynn! We see the film as a serious drama - but they must've had some good times on the set!

For such a beauty, Greer didn't age well at all. In her hey-day, she was a rare gem.
