Lol 30 sec into video i thought the same thing.. plus now days lots of kids dont listen to music they listen to the harsh crap with computer generated sounds no real instraments or talent..
Takes a lot of talent to play instraments and sing in a band..
Family values respect and violence all part of our heritage and if we don't stand together then we will pass it own to our sons and daughters
I grew up playing with cousins brothers uncles and aunts playing every friday evening.
Unless they starting fighting over writing credits, lol.

I know, After several videos i learned that Stuie has a lot of experience with big names, and yes I agree. He is one of the Guitar Greats! When you listen to him play to these country songs you can hear the steel guitar that isn't really there, it's just his level of skill.
I've been playing longer than the kid has been alive and he is just around the corner from blowing my doors off. 🤯👍👍 these Guys are jam up.

First, have to say, Dad is a damned good picker and you have to love the old Telecaster not to mention the sounds he extracts from it. Barefoot Mom is a great rhythm section and older brother is under rated bass player..... wts, Vince Gill better watch out as his successor is in the wings.... :) This is a great piece.

What incredible flat picking by Sonny. The older son is an excellent bass player, but never seems to get much attention. What a wonderful family!

a guy who went through everything in the country music business and left it all behind and devoted himself to his family and made great musicians. I listened to other versions and the original of this song but the way this talented Frenchboy sang it is the best, so emotional way of singing. Singing talent from his mother and guitar technique from his father built a great musician for his age. It's the same for my daughter, I listened to a Beatles cover that was so beautiful and emotional

from 1:16 to 2:20 is some of the best picking I have ever heard.. having a high quality headset AirPods Max you can really hear how good Chet is on that Bass.. too good all of it.

This is really top-notch stuff and why I come to RUclips for entertainment in the first place.
The Internet is full of young kids who can play fancy lead licks, but what really strikes me here is how well their talent serves the full package of the song. People who can noodle around on a pentatonic scale are a dime a dozen. People who can play lead, keep rhythm and sing at the same time, fit nicely into a full live band of other people and carry a nice arrangement of a complete song from start to end are much, much rarer.
This isn't raw talent & speed. This is a group with the focus and discipline to develop that talent to a professional level. Such a treat to hear.

I am so totally impressed it is so nice to see a family do something together and enjoy what they're doing. But what I'm even more impressed about as I see the two young people there not out running the streets and getting in trouble parents have done a good job with these kids I wish more families would do the same. Oh yeah by the way highway 40 blues has been one of my favorite songs for quite a while thank you

Wonderful. The twin parts. The vocals. The acoustic solo was fabulous. The Tele gave it that Ray Flacke vibe even though you were in A you still had the vibe of the solos on the original.
