Got this cheap (15 dollars) so I cannot complain for getting what I paid for, but I am experiencing a shut off after a few minutes even off Eco mode that I don't think you covered in your review and I was wondering if that was typical? For more information the mouse is new, not used. I haven't timed how long it takes for the mouse to go inactive, but it typically happens while watching videos. The mouse will become active again if I click on the left mouse, but not if I move it. Again, is this normal even off eco mode?
Had it for 2 months then it died. Barely could use it in a browser, in games was even worse that's how imprecise it is. I always overshot with it, and I don't know why. When it died I returned it and got myself a G502 which costs 3 times as the Mirage but it is really that much better. Always wanted a wireless mouse but this one is a huge compromise.

If you haven't figured it out by now, there's two versions of the software, one for the basic model and one for the pro model. Download the correct one for yours.
The M690 has a max of 4800 dpi and software supported.The M690-1 has a max of 2400 dpi and IS NOT software supported but you are still able to change dpi and polling rate. Also the polling rate has only two selections, 125Hz and 250Hz. I have the M690-1 version and it works great and only $15 dollars in USA on Amazon.
This does look like the g502 design. I killed 2 G502 wired and I said fuck it I'm going wireless, but the g502 wireless is too expensive for me at the moment so this will do nicely. Also welcome back again :)

it's normal, so it saves battery. Just move it ever 3 mins or so
Whenever you want to change profiles, do you have to open the software? Can't you switch profiles with a mouse button?
