When I was your age, I was running my daughter everywhere to her activities who is now trying to get into school for HER PhD, she's a microbiology major - tough placing. I'm very NEW to the planner world and just discovered it a few months ago and my wallet has suffered for it too! I really ENJOY watching your videos, you have a very calming, relaxing voice and your content is always interesting. Good luck with your PhD and keep up the GREAT work!

It took a while for me to get a PhD position (years!) and a lot of investment! But it was worth it - I’m learning so much. It’s so nice to hear that she is getting support from you and she would need all the love in this really tough (but rewarding) journey 😊 thank you for supporting my channel 🤗

I’m also in my late 50s and relatively recently joined the planning community. Love watching these set up videos. I tend to just use pen and minimal washi.
I never seen anything more beautiful and imaginative…Only in the next life will I be able to do such thing. Amazing 🤩

I have used a Hobonichi weeks as my main planner for 4 years and didn't know you could decorate it. It looks very nice, I would never do it because my planner is used as a planner and not an art journal. I have watched a few of these videos and it seems like a lot of money could be spent on these "planners". Not really my thing, but they look lovely.
I’ve used the Hobonichi Weeks for years too 😊 I used to place a lot more stickers before . Getting things for planning/decorating does add up 😅 But my planning style has changed over the years. Maybe you’d enjoy my weekly plan with me videos, where I use mostly pens. 😄

I was thinking the WHOLE time ABOUT HOW TO FIT MY WEEKS >SNEAKER< into the Hobonichi CLEAR COVER since it's QUITE SMALLER THAN ALL THE OTHER WEEKS... 🤔 Does it fit "comfortably" JUST by ADDING SOME thicker (SCRAPBOOK) PAPER? 🤔 That would be SO AWESOME! 🙏 The "SNEAKER" is my favorite Weeks but i REALLY want to use the Clear Cover with it... 🤷🏼♀️ In your case it looks that it fits REALLY NICE with adding the (Hobonichi) paper you've used! 🤔
Yes it does 😄 you may need to experiment with different papers (or even combinations). But any paper added inside the COC would make it better.
I would love to see the set up of your work pages. I am going to be working hopefully on a PhD next fall.

That is a book holder from Daiso but you can also order it from Aliexpress 😄
I was wondering if the sneaker would fit in the clear cover but it seems it will - just a bit big fit it? I was contemplating getting the regular mega since it fits the cover better. I’m new to this so there is a lot to think about!
The COC is a tad bit big for the sneaker mega. But you’re right - the hard cover mega would fit better lengthwise. 😊 if you have any more questions, just leave it in the comments of my videos or in my community posts 😁 Happy to help!

Hard cover hobonichi weeks mega lay flat on its own 😊 the sneaker mega (the one I have) would lay flat if I use a cover.
