Exactly what we were missing today. Fast attacking, driving at the defence, firing plenty of shots at goal. St Johnstone looked poor and stood off too far but credit where credits due, Celtic pulled it all off - clinical finishing, individual quality on the ball and some absolute belters..hopefully today will be an anomaly after such a promising pre-season!

In reality we have all slayed him, wanted him gone. He plays good for a few mins and gets worshipped, praised and aled the best player. My opinion: there are other players who will easily take his place. Get rid of him and buy an actual player that would fight for their place
James if he trains well enough, give him game time. If he plays well, he’ll get the move. We can’t sell him until offers come in.

good to see the passing at the back nonsense stop and low and behold we bang the goals in. Also switching formations throughout keeps the opposition guessing which was something that we struggled to do under Brendan
Rodgers was good but you would wonder if he had only 11 players in total at the club. Same players week in week out and the same formation. He was a gralear manager and improved the players but burnt them out and got us nowhere in Europe

@Jeff Goldbloom that's exactly what we were lacking before and is what Christie does. For all of the lovely touches and passes that McGregor does he is not known for having a strike from outside the box which made our midfield easy to play against

Poor Zander Clark. Brilliant shot stopper, but Celtic were clinical and there was nothing he could do. Would be a great signing for Hearts in my opinion, especially with their goalkeeper injuries

Best opening of the season game I can remember and this clip missed some chances. Odsonne’s clip in the first couple of minutes getting the first corner was brilliant.

We showed we outclass every other team in the league by far with rangers struggling against Kilmarnock. we've vastly improved over the summer. This season will be easier than last year
Here's hoping. Definently feeling more comfortable with the team under lennon than I did this time last season under Rodgers.
This game is the way celtic should be playing every game considering we are a class above everyone else in the league. It's about time we start banging the goals in instead of waiting for the last minute ones.
Calum O For me it’s all because of Christie and Johnstone. Of course a solid RB is very refreshing but playing young players with a point to prove is what will see us play the attacking football we have gotten used to seeing the past few seasons. As much as I like Sinclair and Rogic they slow the game down an awful lot and don’t seem to show the desire to score that the younger lads do. As soon as Johnstone or Christie get the ball their intention is to go forward and attack and they evidently have the ability to do so and do it clinically.
Looks like Saints will battle to stay up this year.

Edouard has such class movement and footwork, he’s going to be class this season, Johnstone and Christie so important looking too, and to top it off Griffiths is back! Had we got rangers first game I have a feeling there wouldn’t have been a rangers pitch invasion, rather them emptying their section at half time. So excited for this season HH!

Great start to the overall season domestically and in Europe, including the recent 1-1 draw at Cluj over in Romania on Wednesday night. Looking like going through to Champions League Play Off[ HOWEVER------This is Celtic's best chance at getting in to the Group Stage....] Either way. Celtic will have European Football until December.

What’s the point in the Scottish league if they r all gonna get smashed by Celtic. Celtic should play in England
Sadly most clubs in Scotland are not premier League class like Celtic and Rangers but its all they have it needs radical transformation and money if we are ever to see a change in league winners. The other clubs have much smaller stadiums too. Old firm to play with England is a challenge geographically and nationally as they are in Scotland. You'd need to do away with SPL and EPL and have a BPL or just Premier League.
This league is so piss poor wish Celtic were in the English league would love to hear the YNWA when we play them each game
