You know I asked for help from Habitat for humanity and they told me they couldn't help me because I have to have children. They pick and choose who they are going to help. They should be building affordable housing for those of us who low income and don't have children, we have income however not enough to get a place of our own, we can't afford the cost of a one bedroom. Why aren't they building these homes in middle class areas, and poverty stricken areas for those of us who are on SSI.
I doubt they are homeless, just probably cannot afford a average mortgage. The habitat program you have to keep up your credit and be able to pay affordable mortgage for 30 years.

In the state of NC they do. One person can get a three bedroom two bath.
So... how will a homeless family pay property taxes, school taxes, utilities? And why the hell is there a 2 car garage for a homeless family?

Check it for cameras. They line these homes with surveillance.
